I have rule out the option of staying in JB; I have relatives in SG, so I will have a peace of mind if my wife were to come down together with me. Yes, you are right, based on the working location, it is nearer to actually travel from JB according to my relatives.
Not now; in the future, probably yes but that depends what FMC can offer. Knew anyone from FMC?
Haha, your statement is very disturbing, bro. So did you manage to find out what are their reasons of leaving their previous company?  tongue.gif

Not sure how to do it from DBS web. Should apply be from Iras web or return the reply form in iras letter. There is lucky draw going on to "encourage" people especially public sector to pay by Giro.

"It is also currently under investigation for allegations of falsely inflating their workers' salaries in order to qualify for employment passes, the paper reported."

hey man,
U didnt follow my whole story I guess.
Previously a company helped me applied, failed.
Appealed and failed. << yes, she did helped me to appeal. I am sorry for the wrong guess previously

Then as suggested by forummers, I leave it and move on to other company.
Currently what I am saying is already the second company that help me to process for the working pass.
I think you missed out the scenario.
This time I am not guessing, but is confirmed that he havent helped me to apply yet.
Cz the HR just contacted me. << not guessing this time
Well, I am thinking, why want to go through all the messes to apply for TEP?
Isnt WP is easier to apply since it does not requires a degree cert? Well suited for my current situation.
But the company must willing to pay the levy in the first place, right?

you will start to know some of HRs in sg 8.30am-5.30pm style and tachi style or not follow-up or not update procedures biggrin.gif
with the levies & quota they sometimes even reluctant to go through the re-application process.

i guess maybe after president election 27 Aug 2011 for direction of foreign labour policy?

so be prepare to expect the worst case and stay back at malaysia.

could mean further lower salary for malaysian. Lets see if singapore employers willing to pay for the levy or waiting infinitely for singaporean. My company is still taking young malaysian graduates despite tight rule from MOM

you still don't get the 2 words together "levy" & "quota". have $ also useless.
you may have not work in plant with china/indian/bangla foreign labours before.

if you're able to get EP without fulfilling the minimum wages previously, what make you think the increase of salary gap recently will really impact?

you have no idea how many chinamen type employer companies in sg operating. biggrin.gif rclxm9.gif
MOM is already knowing the loophole.
