Hey guys, are Malaysians qualified for jobs in the civil sector?Especially jobs that focuses on policy making and researching.Asking this because am generally interested in a general arts degree in one of the singaporean unis, and I've heard that a lot of 2nd class upper and 1st class graduates are absorbed by the government. Thanks in advance.

QUOTE(icycokes @ Jul 14 2011, 10:08 PM) yes why not? PAP is always malaysian friendly Thanks for your reply. But consider units like MINDEF.Do they seriously entrust data to us,Malaysians(Note:not PRs)?So I guess research jobs are possible, just that major governmental units have barriers to entry?

QUOTE(ivanswk @ Jul 14 2011, 10:31 PM) just to share a story about singapore national security, i was suppose to join a group of people to survey changi airport / CAAS , after given name and stuff, they reply i am not allow to join the survey due to national security, i was like , end of the day they still have to extend the copy of survey report to me wat lol, perhaps the way they conduct the surveys are *ahem* questionable? You got the copy of the survey AFTER it was done anyway, who knows what might could have happened during field work/ aftermath of *analysing* the data?
