our commitment is basically both me and my wife parents are in kl.... going back once a month is just not enough... if we are able to buy a house here, then they can travel here n stay here for like one week or so... thought of getting a car n travel back every weekend but the cost is going to be very high... so our plan is still try to get PR, then buy a HDB... but it is not easy...

QUOTE(toda6866 @ Jul 25 2011, 01:00 PM) for those who replied to my question about 'malaysian driving license convert to sg license' so true... thank you! for those who applied for PR, i too got rejected, im an engineer n not surprised they reject me coz engineers alot plus the locals hav been complaining ALOT about foreigners working in sg... coz to them, without us, they would hav more jobs n possibly better pay. staying in sg, we r giving up alot n contributing alot of rental income to the locals... its not all bells n whistles... we only enjoy the conversion when we go back... 4 times/year? |

QUOTE(Tigerr @ Jul 25 2011, 02:07 PM) Selangor to be correct. Total cost is around RM400 (toll and petrol) per trip to and fro. Have to &%*#*^&^% the UMNO govt for stopping me to pump RON95 and this had made me incurred extra RM 100 per trip back home. hmm... rm300 if ron95.. ok... worth considering... |

QUOTE(seantang @ Jul 26 2011, 10:38 AM) So? so u working in a bank...? Added on July 26, 2011, 10:41 amObviously, it's not just to photocopy and fax, right? Even our intern is doing hands-on credit reviews and maintenance of our customer credit info database. Since I'm not at GS, I don't know the job scope... but he's paid the same as a fresh analyst... so I'd expect he'd be doing all the spreadsheets, data crunching and drafting reports like the other analysts. |
