QUOTE(alaskanbunny @ Jul 31 2011, 07:40 PM) got fiber optic or not ur unit? do u need the mobility? no fix telco also can, do they have cable tv? Sad, this is the problem, my landlord refuse to borrow me her fixed phone line for me to register home broadband, really ridiculous... So, i can only register for mobile broadband. Since I like to play dota, watch PPS and stream EPL during weekends, so i want a mobile broadband plan that can perform all these tasks. Still scratching my head of which telcos to go...

Mostly cant connect at all after work time (night) and weekend. Thinking too many ppl using Singtel, so line very bad. But it was around half a year back. Now not sure. I will be staying in Hougang, any problems in this area? QUOTE(Mackiddo @ Jul 31 2011, 09:13 PM) Dude, once you staying at such place let us know. We could arrange to throw party there Added on July 31, 2011, 9:17 pmWhat kinda speed are you looking at anyway ? 7.2mbps ? niasing, 1 thing i hate about SG is most food court hawkers close its stall at 9.30pm (regardless of shopping centres food courts or open-air ones)
So, everytime when u OT till/after 9.30pm, you hardly can find anything to makan. So, in the end, always ended-up makan McD, KFC or drink Starbucks that closes their shops at around 11pm.
I wonder Singaporeans dont prefer makan supper one ah? We Malaysians always go yamca at food courts till 4am in the morning leh.

QUOTE(jasonkwk @ Aug 13 2011, 11:05 PM) thanks for the reply. my workplace is in clementi, i found 2 places one near jurong east , one near pioneer, pioneer one is cheaper $50 per month, PUB included, facilities almost the same, but transportation cost $16/m more if i stay in the one near pioneer. is the time saving worth it based on your own experience. How much is your rental then??
