I failed but to notice that the base cover of my new laptop , I think the screw assembly is quite poor. Few loose screw and unfortunately on screw already became headless and the thread stuck inside the mobo and the top cover...

Any suggestion how to remove the screw....

Oh Lenovo claim you did that screw failed
They cannot do anything for you

They could consider as accidental damage, change the back cover...

Accidental damage such as drop from the floor
Not doing touch on the screw.
How you gonna to explain?
Once you unscrew mean you gonna to touch on the board.
This is consider void your warranty.
Teardown mean is consider user faulty
*
Adding ram doesn't void the warranty and you need to unscrew them right...

Good idea. Will remember that for next time, just in case.
That's good. They will bring to your location?

Guys,

In customizing section (T490) there are 5 options for the display.

-14.0" HD (1366x768), TN, 220nits, Anti-glare, No Touch
-14.0" FHD (1920 x 1080), IPS, Anti-Glare, 250nits,No Touch
-14.0" FHD (1920 x 1080), IPS, Anti-Glare, 300nits, Multi-touch
-14.0" FHD (1920x1080), IPS, 400nits, Anti-Glare
-14.0" WQHD (2560x1440), IPS, 500nits, Glare

What difference between these 5? anyone? these type of display will affected battery usage? More nits require more power?

thanks

With at least 57 whr battery + WQHD IPS 500 nits (max), battery life should be good enough if you just maintain 300 nits average, easily could get 7-8 hours battery. 500 nits is maximum and its already bright enough...

For all 3, why don't you 3 file claims with relevant authorities, that the advertiser must fulfill the transaction based on their advertisement? I know consumer laws are weak but it is consumer right.
