The Top cover make from what meterial? (T series)
Fiber + roll cage or mag alloy + roll cage?
I scare with the roll cage.. we wont have mag alloy top cover anymore (Mag alloy top cover does boost wireless signal!)

Overall which 1 is better T60 or T61? Spec wise i see T61 really interesting

T60 and X60 were last batch of lappy with IBM logo on it.. Lucky i didn sell it off

Hopefully X61 will still build with full mag alloy body.. I really wish to get 1

2nd haha branding is not important for me, as i say "original" T60 and X60 will be the last batch to have IBM logo on it (no need modified or whatsover) so it can be very very collectable

Ya that is d latest bios version le (2.14)..
To check your bios (Press ThinkVantage (BlueButton) when u on ur Thinkpad then press F1) On the 1st page u can see your bios detail.
Btw bro do u use the "Thinkvantage System Update" see if u miss to update any important stuff from them? And if can try get new vga driver or reinstall it..

-Ya, If you free better go to Lenovo webby ( http://www.lenovo.com/my/en/ ) and check whats new if u know what u really need to update.. If you dont just use ThinkVantage System Update. System update latest bios is 2.14 while WTM0325 get 2.17 on webby.

-Erm.. need program to check bios also de ah hehe!
If go to Bios setup is hard then just click
(Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Imformation (Bios version/Date)) Then u can see your bios and some basic info bout your ThinkPad liao

-And try download more codec and player make your company pcie full of junkie before u return it back to them hehe!

Check basic infos bout your ThinkPad lo
Proc speed, Ram etc etc.

Doin so will help on his matter? I think his vga driver corrupt ba.. try reinstall ur driver better..
I try use both lowest and maximun setting everything work fine le..

My baby ThinkPad X61* finally be with her papa, waited for 1 whole week to reach me from US,Tennessee by Fedex.
*This Japanese lunch box still carry IBM logo

Nothing much i can complain couse this baby are FAST and alot more lighter then my ThinkPad T60 and Dell 640M.
With 4 Cell batt this baby last for freaking >3.5HOURS* browsing pages and some office application.
*With lowest proc speed and wireless set to 50% signal which already very strong.


My X61 spec:

Windows Vista Business (Convert back to XP) By calling Microsoft.

Intel Core 2 Duo T7300 (2.0GHz, 4mb, 800MHz FSB)

wtm0325 bro, I get this baby with great price from US. If buy at malaysia with what i pay now i think i only manage to get R61

I found out that this X61 wireless (with 50% signal) is alot more stronger then mt T60 (50% signal)

Even Lenovo take over IBM i still very very like this ThinkPad, the keyboard still the best i've ever land my fingers on Small machine (like a toy) but come with very good keyboard and dont run hot!
