2 days had passed and my shopback really didn’t get tracked. Really feel like cancel it and reorder, can save at least RM100+ (if 14% it’s RM200+... ), enough for me to get a RAM stick to complete the build...

If Lenovo refuse, maybe possible to call your bank and ask them to cancel for you? I've done that successfully before with another company that refused to cancel. As long as item not shipped out, you should have the right to cancel.

In fact, this last fiasco with my debit card, the Maybank rep took a look at the transaction history and actually offered to cancel, get back all the money for me and revoke future Lenovo authorization.

Hmmm, does that also mean you can order (use same card) with Lenovo further?

I didn't cancel my order (because I needed the laptop) from Lenovo so I don't know. Bank can obviously unblock Lenovo once you give permission, but whether Lenovo blacklists your card is another story.

Perhaps I will contact them tomorrow and see if they allow to cancel, on the basis that I will be reordering the exact same thing afterwards, so they can’t claim that they had build my customised laptop, haha. Wish me luck.

Maybe you can Live Chat first and ask for a price match? That way, they can just adjust the price of your current order. Either way, good luck.
