About this Lenovo double/over charge thing, may I know if
1) Every time they charge, it is only serve as authorization hold and not the payment right?
2) If it is authorization hold, how long they will need to release it?
3) Should we actively contact them to release the old charging? or wait them to do it?

Yes, using credit card is probably better, unless you keep a lot of money (like 5x the purchase) in the debit card account. I should've used my credit card, but the number of trackers on Lenovo's site scared me.

1) Yes, it's technically an authorization hold, but your bank will see it as a "SALE to Lenovo Technology Sdn Bhd".

2) That hold will expire in 7 days and Lenovo will then make another SALE. Process will repeat until all items in your order are shipped.

3) For credit card, no problem. Just ignore all the extra charges until the order arrives, and then tell your bank to chase Lenovo if there is any outstanding/double charge. For debit card, the problem is the float time between Lenovo returning the hold payment and the money going back into your account. If the float period is 14 working days (eg: for Maybank Visa debit), then you need to make sure you have at least 3x the amount of the purchase price in the bank (to account for weekends). For charge cards - like Amex issued by American Express Corp, not bank issued Amex - that mandate you pay on time every month, you have to make the payment when you're billed to avoid interest, but I don't think charge cards have floating period, so the charge is canceled the moment the hold period expires.
