Believe me, women prefer X1 C7, our member just try to let go today.
She will love the laptop like you.
Since the weight just 1.08kg only, some more comes with HDR display.

Don't play play once you miss, all gone.

Guys,

In customizing section (T490) there are 5 options for the display.

-14.0" HD (1366x768), TN, 220nits, Anti-glare, No Touch
-14.0" FHD (1920 x 1080), IPS, Anti-Glare, 250nits,No Touch
-14.0" FHD (1920 x 1080), IPS, Anti-Glare, 300nits, Multi-touch
-14.0" FHD (1920x1080), IPS, 400nits, Anti-Glare
-14.0" WQHD (2560x1440), IPS, 500nits, Glare

What difference between these 5? anyone? these type of display will affected battery usage? More nits require more power?

thanks

nits = brightness. depends on what kind of work u are doing. minimum is 300 nits. lower than 300 nits usually the panel are trash-tier

typical smartphone screen nowadays is 400-600 nits.

between those 5, i recommend 1080p 400 nits, coz still get good battery life. the wqhd 500 nits option is good if u have spend more money but drawback is battery life shorter due to using more power

To be honest I had own few ThinkPads comes with varies panel display.
From 250 to 500nits, the power consumption plus or minor maybe 5-10mins difference only.
Cause the panel has enough brightness for you to adjust, you can set around 300nits = 70% of the overall brightness.
From there can save some power.
Rather than too dim, cant turn higher bright at all.

Single battery is better, issue less like battery 2 could not charged.
