which file? And mine is not from Malaysia. It is the same right?

Just wanna make sure I am doing the right thing..

Another thing I wanna ask. I am going to add more RAM into my notebook and I am using SODIMM PC333 (I think) but I was thinking of getting some other brands, it is safe? Or shall i stick to SODIMM on the safer side?

Currently I am on 256mb. If I add 512mb, it should be ohkie right? I mean, should I stick to 2 256mbs or I can have 1 256mb and 1 512mb?

If I could not have both different sizes, I can change both to 512 right? I mean, its easy to remove the current existing one I have, right?

Hi guys!

I've just bought my first laptop, an IBM ThinkPad R51 2888N01 model! I am proud to say that I'm one of those people who own an excellent laptop... =)

Here is my ThinkPad's specs:

ThinkPad R51 2888N01

P M 725, 768MB RAM, 40GB 4200rpm HDD, 15 XGA(1024x768) TFT LCD, Intel Extreme, 24x10x24x/8x CD-RW/DVD, Intel 802.11b/g wireless(MPCI), Modem(CDC), 10/100 Ethernet(LOM), UltraNav, Secure Chip, 6c Li-Ion battery, WinXP Pro

I got it for RM 3699 at Low Yat Plaza which includes a 3 years warranty and a free 512MB RAM, a Dicota backpack and Logitech Notebook+ mouse.

I'm quite please with my laptop except for the fact that it wasn't installed with Rescue & Recovery. I tried in vain trying to download that piece of software via my internet browser (FireFox and IE) and Software Installer but it just stops downloading before it finishes! Its very frustrating but the rest of the updates can be downloaded, only this. Anyone having this problem? I'm now using Acronis True Image for backups. I like ThinkPad's softwares and I wish I could download R&R.
