Is the brightness working in this build?

Yup, I had hand-ons on HTC Sensation and Samsung SGS2.
Both of them are gingerbread though manufacturers have own home screen, the upper indicator still similar
Like ours on CM7

use CM7, all apps will be installed on sd card iinm
so far few apps installed on phone only on my CM7

No way bro in stock, CM7 is the solution.

how the battery life?

I downloaded two different release of miui 1.9.2 from miuiandroid.com (English site) and miui.com (China site)
both .zip file sizes differ, still testing.
First impression is USB mount failed, android.process.acor keep crashing
(I just wiped cache and dalvik cache)
After wiping everything else now is fine, but it reads my internal sd card only.
Found a tweak pack on miuiandroid.com to revert that, but gonna test china official release first

Being using MIUI on my Ideos X5, and wtf, its gorgeous, hows the 1 in o2x? Still on nighlies status?

Lolz... MiOne Plus 2 days pre-order units are 300k+... now XiaoMi unable to commit and closed the pre-order activity already... Luckily i am in 50k+... estimate to get it in oct or nov..

finally has got the O2X (thanks to my uncle gave it to me as a "gift" coz he has upgraded to S2)...lol

anyway, after reading all the post and comments here, just wondering, which is the best stock rom and which is the most preferred custom cm7 rom?

still new in O2X and kinda wanna learn more to explore it

Now a latest news said that if LG G2X (Optimus 2X for the U.S. market are bundled T-Mobile) has been available to be updated to the Gingerbread 2.3.3.

Gingerbread update size is 178MB with build number GR140. Unfortunately, this update is not available Over The Air (OTA) so users must manually update their smartphone by connecting to a computer and run LG Mobile Support Tool software. So what are you waiting? Go to update your Optimus 2X.
