Rooting part is the most difficult as there are many problems occurred. To install cyanogen mod7 the phone needs to be rooted right?

Hey guys, I'm reporting in.
I've been using CM7 RC1 for nearly a week.
Was on 20110502 baseband with matching RIL.
So far everything I tested is good, no random freezes, restarts.

By now I'm on CM7 Nightly #70 with 20110622 baseband.
All I can say is the camera touch to focus and native screenshot feature is good.
It's fast and good at gaming too.
Still not suitable as a daily ROM especially when you are a heavy gamer, bugs still exist and it may cause you a headache.

hello guys, what is the current price for this phone now? is it worth to buy now? does random reboot already been fix? when this phone will getting 2.3? I want to buy this phone bcoz it is currently the cheapest dual-core phone with tegra 2 chipset which my pocket can spend...hehe...Thanks!

try to flash v10d..download kdz updater frm lgo1 forum.. i get this error MOD uptestEx ...error..any advice for solution?

tried update via lg software update stuck at 4% argghhh..

already still no luck..v10d curious to know how smooth it is..can root with usb debug but no to update..i dunno what is missing, just format my pc..anyway just want to confirm i use kdz from lg500 forum..then set to 3gqct / diag right? done this b4 with lg500 with no pblm..

I asked the forumers this afternoon at Live Chat section of the website.
They expected it to be released within this weekend (HOPEFULLY)

HK V10D were released hell long ago with 20110405 BB+RIL.
MY V10D were released only few days ago with 20110622 BB+RIL.
Except basebands and rils, I not sure if the changelog were the same.
(It means, there are two possibilities.)
One is the development team for MY LG ROM is slower than HK's
Second is our MY V10D ROM has more new fixes/tweaks than HK's

LOL, well I don't mind we didn't get the spotlight.
We should help each other here and that's the important point.
It's much better than finding people asking random/stupid/brainless questions spamming the threads.

early september . by that time optimus 2x also get gingerbread . baru fair fight 

weird, i keep on stucking in 4% unable to update....

woh than i have more confidance getting this phone.

looks like paul have o2x gingerbread . v20a with 622 baseband . so cool .
