Updated to V10D from V10B last Saturday.
Hmm.. Been using for days... Tried LG UI, made me decided to stick back with my Go Launcher EX... Got smoother meh? @@
I don't see any difference before and after the update wor...
Except there's a little bit improvement in the RAM management i guess...
Last time in V10B with my 3rd party launcher running, normally i have only around 90-150MB or free RAM. To reach 200MB free RAM i would have to freeze some of the useless apps by Titanium Backup.
Now, after using V10D, free RAM maximum can reached up till 210MB! Yes, i haven't freeze stock and useless apps YET! Averaging at 150MB onwards.

By the way,
what's V10D's changelog anyway?
Keen to know what's new features in V10D~ biggrin.gif

Bro, how come after i update my lg to V10d i cant root my phone?
always stop at "Waiting Device"
*
Mine worked fine.
I assumed you're using SuperOneClick?
Well, i always unmount my external as well as my internal SD cards before rooting.
Went on smoothly.
Didn't even need to reboot the Superuser icon's already present in my app drawer. biggrin.gif

Guys, July? Is this source reliable?
"Still some 20 days of that month..."
Means that the update could be on the 20th July onwards~

I never trust PC suite.
I only use it for updating my LG's firmware.
Use "MyPhoneExplorer" better.
Google it.
It's free~ rclxms.gif

I was on MIUI few days ago, reverted to stock V10D now, thinking which ROM to flash.

Hmm, I downloaded Google+ long time ago and restore it via Titanium Backup.
So I don't know about it, but well, mine too the currency is in USD.
*
You've reverted to stock V10D? Which version of V10D have you downloaded?
.kdz file?

Oh.. So you flash with the kdz file via B2CApp bla bla.exe right?
Btw, why reverted back to stock from MIUI? MIUI not nice?

Yes. Last time when i went to retrieve my replacement HDMI cable i saw one O2X having exactly the same issue, fractured gorilla glass.
They will replace the glass panel for free if it's still under warranty. rclxms.gif

OUG, KL,

KL area or ampang area got?
*
KL area sure got.
Just not sure where's the exact location.
I'm from Sarawak actually. Last time for my replacement cable, the guy had to order from KL and waited for the package to deliver here lagi.
KL sure easy to find one service centre. Check your warranty card? Bottom there are branches of service centres. I found mine from the card actually. lol

Woo, got my hand on a optimus 3D just now, pretty cool device i must say, camera quality is better than o2x, UI is similar to Black but polished with 3D content and what suprise me is there's FOTA within, the stereoscopic screen is awesome as it was, 3D video on it really looked impressive. smile.gif
*
Optimus 3D's stereoscopic cameraSsS 5mp better quality than O2X's 8mp??

Nice  rclxms.gif

spend 1 days on MIUI 1.7.29 then decided to switch to CM7 Nightly. Main reason for switching are the Brightness issue.  smile.gif So far CM7 gives me good battery life and speed. No issue on 3D games like Samurai II. Missed some MIUI features though.
*
Yea.. I've tried MIUI 1.7.29 for a night too.. Like the custom user interface~ But a battery drainer!
Tried MoDaCo Gr1 too, satisfied, plan to revert back to that. But before doing so,
currently trying CM7 Nightly #95.. Seems stable.. But no HDMI? And the UI sucks. =S
I want my LG Stock Camera like in MoDaCo Gr1.. CM7 doesn't have it.. =(
Any comments and recommendations?

Can live without HDMI ATM. Yeah UI are pretty dull especially coming from MIUI. You can try Go Launcher Ex.

Unlikely will go back to Stock unless GB.

I also move my Android Market back to old version because can't use Market Enable on the the new version.
*
Yea.. HDMI mirroring is one of the best features on O2X!
Even my bro's Galaxy S2 doesn't have a port with the label "HDMI"~ biggrin.gif
Anyway, just downloaded a MoDaCo Gr1 based custom ROM named "Blazing Dragon 2.0" from XDA forum.
Heard that it's quite stable and fast.
IF IF IF it's still not satisfactory, i think i'll stick back with Nightlies... No HDMI then... Haiz...... sweat.gif

I have no problem with notification sound.
But have you override the sound settings? Try check in Cyanogen Settings? Inside there's profiles option.
Btw, anyone can confirm whether CM7 Nightly #95 has working HDMI??

CM7 Good for day to day use. Good battery life. What you missed compare to Stock;
1. No Video Call
2. Call quality was clear (compare to MIUI)
3. HDMI (haven't tested, some claim it work in CM7)
4. Camera / Video can't stored to External SD Card

Issues not related to CM7
1. Market Enabler not working for New version of Android Market
*
Regarding HDMI, i can confirm it's usable, and it works flawlessly~ rclxms.gif
But there's little issue there, the sound still comes out from phone's speaker even when HDMI is plugged into LCD TV.
I've issued out back in XDA forum.

Using Nightlies #101 actually. Not sure if #102 already fixed that.

Btw, here it comes, Nightly #104~
Stable anyone? Maybe trying it later~ brows.gif
