Good and Great, just updated to v10D, UI is super smooth now, never experience random reboot before therefore no comment. Gingerbread will be available very soon according to LG (hopefully tongue.gif ), go with it and you will get a customize friendly and great value phone for gaming. smile.gif

since I never had any random reboots and freezes before... the only thing I noticed after updating my phone is smoother UI and the ram management seems to have improved.. even with car home and F-secure still in my phone(havent deleted them after updating my phone) my phone's ram is constantly around 100-160mb free nod.gif

before the update my free ram is always around 80-100mb free and after I removed them using titanium backup my free ram's about 80-120mb

Latest official update give you v10d with 1035.21-20110622 baseband. Kernal 2.6.32.9

So far so good. No problem with root. Can't comment on the LG Launcer because not using it. :-)

so if my current phone is rooted, after update still needs to re-root? or it won't effect root status?

If you upgrade using stock ROM, you need to re-root after update.
