spend 1 days on MIUI 1.7.29 then decided to switch to CM7 Nightly. Main reason for switching are the Brightness issue. So far CM7 gives me good battery life and speed. No issue on 3D games like Samurai II. Missed some MIUI features though.

Yea.. I've tried MIUI 1.7.29 for a night too.. Like the custom user interface~ But a battery drainer!
Tried MoDaCo Gr1 too, satisfied, plan to revert back to that. But before doing so,
currently trying CM7 Nightly #95.. Seems stable.. But no HDMI? And the UI sucks. =S
I want my LG Stock Camera like in MoDaCo Gr1.. CM7 doesn't have it.. =(
Any comments and recommendations?

My comment is stick to cm7 and customize it with apps, that's the best ROM we can find for now, until LG release gingerbread for us and release the HAL too.

Can live without HDMI ATM. Yeah UI are pretty dull especially coming from MIUI. You can try Go Launcher Ex.

Unlikely will go back to Stock unless GB.

I also move my Android Market back to old version because can't use Market Enable on the the new version.

Yea.. HDMI mirroring is one of the best features on O2X!
Even my bro's Galaxy S2 doesn't have a port with the label "HDMI"~
Anyway, just downloaded a MoDaCo Gr1 based custom ROM named "Blazing Dragon 2.0" from XDA forum.
Heard that it's quite stable and fast.
IF IF IF it's still not satisfactory, i think i'll stick back with Nightlies... No HDMI then... Haiz......

dear all, now using cm latest #95, weird is, i set notification sound for sms, but still yet no sound? any idea? or i set d wrong way? how is the setting? anyone? i set it udner setting option under notification...

I have no problem with notification sound.
But have you override the sound settings? Try check in Cyanogen Settings? Inside there's profiles option.
Btw, anyone can confirm whether CM7 Nightly #95 has working HDMI??
