hmm
I was on cm7 build 106,

now going to 162, but get bootloop =.= build 161 also same,

if flash back build 106 still work like usual, what's going on?

Edit: It seems I need newer version CWM to flash new firmwares without problems

but the problem is any version CMW other than Paul's 4.0.0.5, will make the phone vibrates all the time in Recovery menu,

is there any way to fix it ???? I scare it fries my vibrator ler, non stop vibrating during in CMW Recovery menu

download ROM manager and flash the latest one?
P.S.
Is there any way to change the sd card mount point on Topogigi v1.8?
I'm testing it now lol
*
hi,

yes, I flash the latest from rom manager, it's 5.0.2.0 "shown in CWM"

it vibrates all the time when inside the CWM Recovery menu,

only the version 4.0.0.5 by Paul doesn't have vibrate issue, other all version got vibrate issue

I got no idea why like this, now I can only do flashes as fast as possible, don't let it vibrate too long,

so backup maybe a problem, it takes long time to backup, so must let my phone vibrates all the time until i quit CMW

I've to use new version CWM, 4.0.0.5 doesnt work for flashing newer version CM7, it will lead to bootloop

this is serious problem,

only Paul's 4.0.0.5 Clockworkmod doesn't have vibrate non stop issue,

other versions older or latest, it makes my phone vibrates all the time during clockworkmod recovery mode,

this issue has been addressed for so many times but there's still no solution?

I couldnt stay 4.0.0.5 because couldn't flash later versions of CM7,
it will bootloop even on fresh flash,

last night want to flash cm7 build 180, I've to let my phone keep vibrating when flashing phone for long time, and now the phone inside smell some kind of motor overheat smell,

scare one day will fry my phone if vibrates more by using recover menu... -.-

is there really no solution for this issue at all?????????

today... went to rom manager, press flash CWM for op2x for check later versions,

so eh, it still checking, takes ages, then it forces close itself, try again still same, so i reboot my phone, then, stuck at first LG logo forever, and PWR + VOL DOWN no longer works to get to CWM recovery

i guess it SCREWED my CWM, now my cyanogenmod no longer boots,

how? anyway to save my phone back to current installed CM7?

so phone is bricked, is nvflash the only way to get phone back to life?

do I have to go back stock rom with nvflash? or is there anyway to reflash my broken CWM?

i dont want to go nvflash such risky low level flash unless there is no other way to fix my current issue

u brocked urs?
hope any bros can help u

thats y i dun want to use custom stuff...eespecially the OS thingy... nightmare haha
dun hav time to deal  sweat.gif better stick to the stock OS to me

unless China Android tablet, i like to flash a lot custom ROM haha
*
haha, normally dont touch recovery will do, as long as u got recovery on, how bad ur rom goes still can easily recover,it seems the rom manager fail to update CWM recovery, screwed it, custom rom needs CWM boot, now CWM broken, so nothing can boot, It seems nvflash back to stock rom is the only way.. still looking for better solution b4 nvflash

haha, dont be nervous

as long u keep ur recovery mode is fine, no matter how u mess ur rom, u always can flash back, my case is special, accidently fail at updating/flashing a newer recovery mode, so recovery mode broken, nothing can do such as restore or reflash roms, phone is dead

the final solution is to fully low level recovery by nvflash back to factory stock rom and settings, which u lost all root status, CWM, phone memory and internal sd data, external sd data still remain, i just want to find a way that fix without losing my current cm7 firmware, (cos i lazy reinstall app 1 by 1)

guess thats not possible since my phone bricked, so have to use nvflash, just restore my phone to stock 10b, (originally is 10a), now start over, root, and CWM then custom rom smile.gif

Bro.
Have you tried partial nvflash? Here is the link to do it http://android.modaco.com/topic/345370-dat...aster-recovery/

all the best

P/S : This user had same thing happened and he found that he can partial nvflash the boot.img to bring the boot back biggrin.gif
*
so this is the one that can recover my recovery with nvflash,

if i find this earlier, so i can keep my previous installed rom yawn.gif

thanks for the link, it's exactly what i need smile.gif

I'll need it again if next time i screwed my recovery again

gud luck bro.... and 1 question,do u able to download stock rom tat given by xda??
i can't sad.gif  so i cannot go back to the stock rom now
*
oh, I've already recovered my phone, back to stock 10b, then root and go CM7 again, lol

I didnt try the stock roms at xda, but using Paul O`'s O2x 10b Stock nvflash restore pack,

everything is already prepared and complete flash command, for every O2x (LG Optimus 2x P990)
but not for G2X(T-Mobile G2X P999)

easy, plug usb enter nvflash bootloader, then run the flash.bat from the pack, it does everything for u until ur phone reboot, and ur phone become new phone factory status at LG's Froyo 2.2 10b

what happen if u use this

- Warranty void (if u mod, it voids anyways)
- Format and repartition ur phone
- Removing Existing recovery mode, such as CWM, back to stock Recovery
- Lost root status if you rooted your phone
- Lost all Data inside Phone Memory and Internal SD (built in storage, total 8GB), but External SD data still keep

hello guys, I've found this problem months ago, but didnt get any answers until today

does anyone has WiFi connection speed slowdown when HDMI cable is connected to a HDTV/Any LCD Display Monitor?

plugged in, downloading speed thru Wifi dropped to really slow, slowest 1kB/s or dced from wifi, become not really stable,

if you unplug the hdmi cable again, everything instantly goes back to normal, this makes me cant youtube streaming or PPS/PPTV on HDTV

really sad...does anyone here who uses CM7 nightly builds can confirm this for me ??? I scare it's my phone is defective one

Phone: LG Optimus 2x (P990)
OS: CM7 Nightly Build 204

When I was still on stock rom, didn't test this,
I really hope it's not my phone hardware issue
hope it's the bug on CM7 nightly build

I never think of that after I started playin with customs tongue.gif But yeah its really weird, as it is those independent developers who have given us the latest roms, and not LG themselves. Y'know, the developers work for free ffs, what's LG's doin huh?

Oh, its post 2500 dy biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
*
yeah, now we only depending on custom rom developers, we got frequently updates, lite, high performance, stable roms than the offcial roms that LG provide us,

really dont know what LG is doing, now ICS announced, expect it to be released this year end or maybe next year Q1

maybe that time I'm already using Cyanogenmod 9 ICS from CM team already lol
