Well, the best stock rom is always...the latest, which is v10e currently.

As for custom roms, XDA would be your solution.

Well, chainfire will work for our device but to play those specific Qualcomn/PowerVR supported only games, most ppl install i think to play games that support Xperia Play only in market eg Battlefield 2 or Deadspace but only work with CM7 or MIUI and most 2.3 custom roms. smile.gif

Actually i have encounter many cases like u faced across various of droid, wifi error seems common software problem to me, my Ideos X5, o2x and Galaxy Gio, friend's Galaxy S, HTC Desire HD.
As i know, reboot will solved the problem. smile.gif
