can i use maxis prepaid broadband sim for ipad2

I think shouldn't be a problem. You just need to cut the sim card.

no problem, i can borrow my friends sim cutter.
i seldom use ipad for 3G internet, use wifi all the time.
i wonder can use prepaid broadband when travel and etc..
or must sign data plan?

Can use prepaid, i think the only problem is that you need to take out the sim card and put into a phone when you need to reload.

that not a big problem to me, i guess.

I am using Digi prepaid broadband, the one with RM1 per day. No problem at all.

I am using u mobile prepaid broadband, the only hassle is i have to take it out to reload every month.

Basically it runs on the same network technology so no problem, differece between prepaid and postpaid is just how you will be billed.

I just got a celcome prepaid broadband today for my ipad2. It works well. But the only concern is i need to send a subcribtion sms to celcome when i need to sue the data (as i can choose daily or weekly). How i send the sms fr ipad2? The salesperson advice me to take out the sim fr ipad n put it to my phone then send the sms, then put bek to ipad again for the usage. So trouble? Is tat any apps is able for us to send sms thru ipad?

If ur sim is broadband sim, i think u can only sms the service provider. Unless ur sim is phone n data sim, u can make sms n call fr ipad

yes you can as for first time activation you need to make a call to active the sims sms work fine to being using it to sent sms

just for the past few days I can activate my daily prepaid as the portal keep showing error

Thanks for the explanation. anyway, this maxis prepaid broadband sim can reload through the portal? no need to take out the sim and put inside a phone, and for everytime we want to use the broadband, need to activate manually or it's like digi prepaid broadband? it will activate automaticaly when we reload.
