i might go with my brothers but still no answer from them, expect me & my 2 brothers

the mh4 trailer seems to be more of an in game cinematic other than anything else, if i were the guy i'd be busy chopping up the tigrex instead of running non stop

the running around is proably to show the 'open map' concept the mh4 game have. no more running to other area to take a break and recover! LoL~
i kind of like the idea of the destructable environment. maybe we can make the surrounding to our advantage?? gunning from high ground!?

after many series without changing the game mechanics, besides the new monster and new weapon, i think its about time MH give us something refreshing for a change.

i'd say they make the clear quest option as "run away from *insert monster* within 5 minutes"

hi guys,
i have reached reached the emergency quest for village elders, farming jhen mohran for the 'earth jewel' thing. whle mining at its back, found a metal ore that unlocked an armor called "3 eye sumthing".. the special ability page was written all in japanese though.. can someone tell me what that ability is??

Added on September 18, 2011, 11:16 pmgot 2 earth jewel on last 3 try. on the last 4 try i become pretty pro with the balista and was able to skin both its arms and killed it with all parts broken (back x2, arms, tusk x2). i broke both its arms on last phase with balista shots when its crawling in.

maybe all parts need to go for jewel to appear on carve. not sure.

I unlock those three eyes armor pieces when I just reach HR4 probably after defeating jhen mohran in lower rank guild urgent. It's just a skill-less armor pieces that have 3 slots in them. Not really useful or good, just something to use temporarily at best (for gunners only because defense is pretty bad for melee).

I got it tho at that time because I hunt like crazy and can't get barioth tail for the barioth armor top. And that armor got ok defense and just enough slots for me to activate the skills I need after stuffing them with decorations.

When you wear those three eye armor pieces, it's like you're wearing nothing tho.

Jewels are on a low drop rate and considered as "rare". Some monsters you need to break their parts for their Jewels/Rubies to appear in the reward box.

You will need to cut the tail to get the tail piece. Some monsters do reward their tail even if you dont cut it off.

Some dont. Hence its good to learn a cutting weapon to do this.
