Tron original review

well, film cameras of course has higher resolution than fullHD, but being the first computer animated (well, many parts of "half" computer animated), u'll see "picture noise" in the animation, it's like upscaled DVD9, no difference. of course the non-animated part is sharp and nice, but those parts are like, maybe just 15-20 minutes.

so, bluray not really worth it for tron original

i think i have watched the dvd over 10 times, addicted to it

luckily im satisfied with DVD upscaling on my small TV, just gonna get classic films on bluray that I will watch often, like Color Purple, Tron oringinal , Starwars. When I buy bluray I ask myself , "How often do i watch this? "

there are mixed reviews, because it doesn't contain the original version for classic star wars purists. so I think I'll have to wait for Ultimate version. I would hate to see versions 4,5,6 different

Added on July 22, 2011, 5:39 pmyup, its true, Episode 4,5,6 is edited with extra computer graphics characters and even some songs changed. all I want it original theatrical version, now I understand why this bluray version is getting bad reviews
