Yup...it's absolutely brilliant. The DTS track is amazing, and the PQ is spectacular as well.I don't think kids will like this flick though...a bit too deep and not mainstream enough for them.

Yup...Hanna has been very divisive since its release. Personally, I liked it, nothing spectacular in it but it does have a wicked soundtrack by the Chemical Brothers.
Just don't expect a Hollywood slam bang action flick. Mainstream filmgoers will probably hate this movie. One thing that can be agreed upon is that the DTS track is explosive. |

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Sep 21 2011, 03:31 PM) I tested Thor's 7.1 yesterday. The bass effects were loud but I did not feel the depth that I expected to get with the mix. Checking around in AVS forums reveals that this mix is 20Hz high pass filtered! What an utter waste! This could have been a fantastic mix, but we end up with a muted soundtrack. Perhaps, they didn't want the majority of customers with lesser subs to miss out on the subsonic effects.According to one of the avs post's bass average graphs, Thor has lots of 35hz peaks just like TRON Legacy. |
