Guys,

Congratulate for ver13

Need some help here. Have some Disc being sent via i-parcel from Amazon. It must by my "lucky day"

There were a tracking number given by Amazon and the last status given was arrival at Carlstadt NJ (Arrival Scan - June 28, 2011 7:18:36 AM)

Upon checking the tracking number at the i-parcel website - it gave me this message "The tracking number you have entered is not a trackable shipment within the i-Parcel network and tracking information is not made available here"

I contact Amazon customer service but the reply given is that not to worry as sometimes i-parcel do not update their tracking status and so on.

This has never happen to me in the sense that the parcel is not trackable using i-parcel

anyone experience this before?

Bro, this edition, apart from special wooden box, is there any other things such as statue or artist sketches?

Bro,

What about those special features, will they be in German? I am afraid that we will have those German menu and so on which is a bit tough to access since I cannot read the language

A quick check with B&N noted that the 8-disc Lion- King can be pre-ordered at USD57.77,.more than twenty dollar cheaper than AMZ.

Can anybody.confirm this?

Bro Andrew,

I recall you pre-order the Top gun, Actually I pre-order this item as well.

The price has recently dropped to USD15.99 but my order is still showing USD18.99. Should I contact AMZ and ask them or will the price decrease automatically later?

Waiting for the ultimate collection as well for HP. As long as it's shelf worthy and doesn't take up too much space.

Ha Ha Ha... I am also eagerly waiting for the Ultimate Edition of the HP. So far, I have Year 1-6

Hi all,

I am wandering if we can ask Amazon to consolidate (or merge) some of the many orders that I have made?

Say - I have made 3 orders with each order having 5-6 titles. For each order, some titles have been shipped and some have not been shipped. Will it be possible for them to merge all the un-shipped titles all in one new-order?

Thanks for sharing your experience

Wondering why you made separate orders consist of 5-6 titles each package? To avoid taxation?
Now, why would you wanting to merge them? when it's vulnerable to tax?

You may want to re-calculate your soon-to-be-merged-package and make sure it's not taxable. Unless you're using fast courier which has less impact!

I think you better leave it for hassle-free-delivery..just an opinion.. innocent.gif

Sometimes I made order to take advantage of certain price drop of certain titles that I wanted and as well as to avoid taxation - try not to over RM500.

I try to merge some of this because, it might save me up to USD10 on shipments fees but I also have to balance it out on the taxation because some will have more than RM500. Example I order 2x Star Wars - that alone will be more than RM500.

Thanks so much for your suggestion - I think it is best to leave it for the time being

I just bought Rio 2D from Speedy - cost me RM99. and it is without slipcover. Nevertheless, I am not too concern about the slipcover.

Basically, the Rio sold locally is Asian version which have dubbing in Cantonese and Mandarin by famous HK actor/actress. It is so funny as compared to English - to my opinion. Thus, I have no choice but to buy it locally even though it is more expensive as compared to AMZ. For the local copy, they come with a ticket to bird-park KL as well as some kind of colouring contest for kid.

The last time, I also bought Legend of the Guardian from Speedy and enter the contest and won a small hamper with all the Legend of the Guardian merchandise. Have to go to the Speedy HQ in Kampung Pandan and they took picture with me as well. Ha Ha Ha.

Added on August 16, 2011, 10:01 amGuys, just noted that B&N having crazy sales LOTR EE at USD59.99 - I am so regretted buying from AMZ now!!

Many more titles at 50% discount

If your signature message realizes everyone , how stupid it is to spend so much on BD, this thread would be pointless unless..for poisoning tongue.gif

I don't agree on using the term "stupid" in spending money in BD.

What about spending money on
1. Cigarettes
2. Hard Liquor
3. Buying numbers (gaming) / gambling
4. Other type of entertainment - as in massage, KTV

I don't spend a single cent on the above - thus, I believe my little "sinful" spending in BDs is still acceptable as I stay home to watch BD together with family - rather than spending money outside with friends drinking, clubbing. Whenever I use the above reasoning, my wife have nothing to say and even support me sometimes - financially!!

My latest haul and the most expensive bluray ever bought.

Both are exclusive edition from Boomerang (Thai retailer). Still thinking of whether I should sell it off to make some money (and then buy the US version) or keep it for myself

Where you bought the Thai edition, might sharing? smile.gif

Can't buy online because they don't send to Malaysia.

My brother currently in Bangkok for holiday and I tumpang him to buy for me while shopping there.

Yes, it is damn expensive but unfortunately I prefer the steelbook packaging and the icing of the cake that it has additional audio feature (cantonese version) which is not available in the US version.

I bought the x-men first class from Speedy last 2 weeks - if I am not mistaken, it is about RM119.

Well, I think it will disappoint you if you are looking into special edition of this movie. Basically, the bluray is stored in the normal blue-amaray plastic case and the case it put into the nicely embossed box with the Magneto head in front. I must say the box is quite nice to be displayed but just that! There is no additional things inside the box apart from the Amaray blue case.

This package is similar to Brazil, Thailand & Taiwan version but in those countries, they have included a booklet together with the movie. So you may want to consider that if you want.

Cheers
