Yup...it's absolutely brilliant. The DTS track is amazing, and the PQ is spectacular as well.

I don't think kids will like this flick though...a bit too deep and not mainstream enough for them.

Thanks for the brief review.

I watched Rango on a small 8in screen on the plane. Fantastically scripted and voiced by Johnny Depp. In my opinion, a must get for the movie. Based on external reviews, the PQ and AQ are close if not reference material! Good price now on Amazon...

Could be the most excellent release of the year after LOTR EE, JP Trilogy, Tom & Jerry Collection. Good work Warner Bros!

Bolt Blu-ray Review

Managed to spend an hour 36 mins (run time of this title). Yet to watch The Incredibles, Tangled , Fox & The Hound I & II. Reviews in simple form as per below-->

Packaging : Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy [1 BD + 2 DVD] comes with Slipcover

Video Review --> After managed skipping 8 boring chapters of Disney trailers, i was absolutely stunned with this blu-ray release. Surprised me to the core! A full screen treat with little bit of "3-D pop" (at some portions of the film). The visuals lifts this release up to its top notch par. Extremely gorgeous colors, vibrant, smooth presentation. The black level is extremely solid.
The details are impressive. No one could point at any authoring or mastering problems and this earns perfectly solid 5/5 for its stunning , stunning video presentation. Kids will love Bolt ;o)

Audio Review --> Point, booming bass at times , simply superb. The dialogues are crystal clear. Can't review much on 5.1 factor with 2.1 setup. Although with 2.1 , the DTS HD-MA did its best! Impressive , absolutely impressive! Audio receives 5/5 from me.

Extras --> Never had the precious time to explore them but it seem to be loads of 'em. Disc 2 is the Digital Copy of the film and Disc 3 is the DVD version of the film which i'm not particularly bothered about. Blu-ray disc matters most!

I would recommend Bolt without any hesitation. This is a must have release and those who has kids at home, show it to your kids. They will appreciate this awesome video and audio presentation.

Rango BD review

The film: This is the most spectacular animation I ever seen in my life. The details is crazy and look real, every drawing is perfection and gorgeous look! The film itself is well done and it do actually tribute to a classic film. Adult will definitely love it, but I don't think young kids will enjoy on it, it was did for adult audience. Without think twice, it is a confirm 5 Star.

PQ: The best transfer I ever seen for animation. 5 Star.
AQ: Great and solid sounding.  5 Star.

Packaging: One of the gorgeous ever did slipcover,  a must for slipcover collector.

Overall 5 Star, highly recommended!

The slipcover looks plain..good review though..
