Ya, of cos the account has $$.
andrew is using debit card.

I know credit card has online transaction charges. I would like to know if use debit card, will the final cost will be cheaper? (since debit card doesnt have online transaction charges? Compared to credit card)

Best way to find out is call your debit card bank customer service. They can explain to you better. biggrin.gif

Why need call, no need, they is no extra money missing before, I already nearly half year using the Debit Card for purchasing, I don't see any extra charging or interest involved. wink.gif

cos for my credit card, it will just show the final charges (from USD to RM), no specific indication of any transaction charges too. maybe its already charged during the conversion?

example :

30th July - Amazon.com AMZN.COM/BILLUS US$113.97 RM339.84 = 2.98 rate
05-Jul-2011 - Amazon.com AMZN.COM/BILLUS US$39.46 RM119.94 = 3.03 rate

Anyway it charging or not, also not really can know unless you call, as conversion rate keep changing.

I more hate Paypal rate, as they always charge higher than current, example now is 2.97 but Paypal charge you 3.2 sad.gif

Well, you admitted at last that calling is the alternate option.

It's a safer practice to call and inquire. Nothing wrong with finding out the details. Different banks might have different prospects and way of charging the customers. Don't jump into conclusion before knowing it in detail..

Yes. For credit card there is not interest appear in statement. If fact, bank can earn profit from you by charging higher exchange rate. Not need separately charge interest or other transaction charge. I believe debit card also same.

That I not sure cause I don't have debit card. tongue.gif But I think that depend on bank's own policy. Cause bank can charge any rate (of course must be reasonable) their want. That is why different bank often compete with other banks to attract customer to use their bank service when deal with foreign currency transactions.

The paypal rate for payments on eBay or online purchases are ($2.90 + $0.30 = $3.20 USD). They pick 2.9 as the currency rate. I believe the 0.3 is the commission icon_question.gif

I also seen it yesterday, the LOTR: EE is bulky, I think it same as UK edition, using normal bulky blue color blu-ray case only

The Superman Anthology is normal Big Amaray case slot in as well, not like US edition that gorgeous.

I plan to snap photos but it put too near the counter, so forget about it. Haha!

I nearly attempt to buy the Green Hornet Steelbook (same steelbook as German / HMV UK edition) but after seeing the price of RM 149.90, I refuse.. Ops!
