Transformers: Dark of the Moon review is out on HidefDigest.

I wonder how many people will get that cause it was a bare bones edition hmm.gif

But the 7.1 TrueHD is very tempting sweat.gif

hmmm... one of the attractions of buying these series on bd is the supplementary features that come with the movies, so this is definitely a no-no for me. I also heard the one with jammed-pack features (which will be release later this year) will be the one with 3D. Well, if you don't want the 3D i guess you can still watch it in 2D... but will the price still be ridiculously high then; knowing there is no non-3D special-feature release? hmm.gif

got this set b4.

its a boxset slipcover, shiny cover but its not hard type.

doesnt fancy the extra digital copy discs inside (they make the set more expensive), but at current price, its ok  tongue.gif
*
I didn't know UK releases have digital copies... hmm.gif

True .... his acting wasn't even worth 50 sen. tongue.gif  I expected Bruce Willis to be more discerning in choosing his films ...... not trusting him again. lol .... hope he doesn't go down Nicholas Cage's road .....

Bruce Willis is going down under with Cop Out n Set Up
But Red was good / Surrogates is also enjoyable
*

Agreed. Red was good & Surrogates happened to be one of my favourite film recently. Well, Hostage was the last bad one by Bruce Willis that i remembered... btw, his upcoming film will be the sequel to G.I. Joe...

Yeah now I m curious is something wrong with the set
*
Well, it's back on & ok to order as of now... i read somewhere that Amazon's customers complained that the product description a bit misleading when they stated a "5 film set"; seems like being a "5 discs set" when there are actually only 4 discs. On top of it, Lionsgate also mentioned at their website that the documentaries contain 4 hours of extras, including commentaries, etc. .....but there are NONE! I don't know hoe true but from price point of view - a "3 film + 2 docos" for USD20 is too good to ignore.... unless of course things get even better during Black Friday! nod.gif

I just watched the xmen 1,2,3. I felt all look n sound better than first class
*
Well, I guess X-Men, X2, X-Men: The Last Stand & X-Men Origins: Wolverine were made more as an 'action film genre' while X-Men First Class more as a drama... so that could be the outcome, who knows... hmm.gif

Why "The Naked Gun - From the Files of Police Squad!" & "Airplane!" blu-ray are not available at Amazon.com? If not mistaken both already released on 25th September 2011. Any reason.... hmm.gif

Good news for Tom Cruise fans. Amazon just include this in their release list:

Price: $35.99

This title will be released on November 15, 2011.

i don't understand then why amazon still using i-parcel; i bet there are other customers worldwide complained about its slow deliveries too and amazon has to compensate/refund etc... and will only backfires them if they keep using this service in long term. it happened to me twice also during last BF: 1st complain - refund shipping charges; 2nd complain - refund product charges... but later parcel turn-up after all! but in the end, the much delay justifies the refunds, so ok la... tongue.gif

Oh ic, ya true, that why I not put together, anyway steelbook still look nice, the most ugly I think is digibook as it can't stand straight.
*

true, digibook is the least favourite for me... not only it can't stand straight, the pages are very difficult to flip full because the way of the binding & the credits info are printed separately so after unwrapped, the loose sheet can fly off & don't know where to keep within the book! doh.gif Luckily now, film like SE7EN oredi released a non-digibook version too! rclxms.gif

QUOTE(mensa @ Oct 5 2011, 10:29 AM)
i dunno y but i think 300 on bd got heavy grainy issue +_+
*

300's was shot digitally so technically no 'film' grain in presence... while grain was added intentionally to reflect the film's graphic novel tone of gritty, gruesome & dark theme throughout which can be accepted, but 'obvious' grain because of film deficiencies on HD, is a... shakehead.gif tongue.gif
