For Ben-Hur, I actually never watch this movie before or even heard before.    First time heard it when the pre-order is avaiable. 

For my understanding, majority local couriers service in my town is crap.  Even DHL also about the same. Parcels fron Singapore shipped directly to my town at early morning (8am to 9am) will take them more than 1 day and only next day their will deliver to you. Flight from Singapore to my town usually only take 2 to 3 hours only.

they deduct the price when u placed your order...but not mention under VAT part......that only my experience with Amazon UK last week

For normal edition of BD, slow shipping may = free shipping.  But for limited edition BD, slow shipping may become missing parcel -> no replacement since out of stock.  In that case, refund is only option. 

i don't understand then why amazon still using i-parcel; i bet there are other customers worldwide complained about its slow deliveries too and amazon has to compensate/refund etc... and will only backfires them if they keep using this service in long term. it happened to me twice also during last BF: 1st complain - refund shipping charges; 2nd complain - refund product charges... but later parcel turn-up after all! but in the end, the much delay justifies the refunds, so ok la...

On December 1, 2010, Amazon.de will release Pixar Steelbooks for following title.  Anyone want to order all of them?    Current price is EUR 15,99 each. All is limited edition.

Some other forumers in US said no many ppls like steelbook in US.

Few months ago (more than half year), there is one thread in www.blu-ray.com discussed this issue.  Lot of ppls replied stated why their don't want steelbook. I can't remember all of them.  Someone said if you put together with all BD (normal edition) with steelbook, it look wired.  Because steelbook is shorter.

Another Blu-ray i have seen with heavy grain was Men In Black. It looks great with grain present. There are more movies on Blu-ray with grain present , looks awesome as its originality is retained compared to movie in theater.

UPS really great!    Their shipped my parcel to 4 different cities.  And now their sent my parcel back to 2nd city, Philadelphia.  In 3rd city, their already mentioned that is export scan and now sent back to 2nd city. Not sure what are their plan.  Until now, Parcel still haven't leave US. 

true, digibook is the least favourite for me... not only it can't stand straight, the pages are very difficult to flip full because the way of the binding & the credits info are printed separately so after unwrapped, the loose sheet can fly off & don't know where to keep within the book!  Luckily now, film like SE7EN oredi released a non-digibook version too! 

Mine estimate delivery date is this Saturday. Now the parcel is at Koeln, Germany    Their want to bring my parcel circle the globe first.  or opposite route compared to DHL.

i have tried most of my STARWARS disc, i noticed all sounds near perfect, very active 6.1 channel, a must for sound lover. pic wise, i particularly like episode 3 to 6. 1 & 2 too soft & looks to digital.

i have revisiited PIRATE OF CARRIBEAN TRILOGY again, all with LINEAR PCM SOUND, all sound very good, this is a trilogy worth repeat viewing.

AMAZON UK has some good discount now.
