Apocalypse Now (Japan Edition)

Bro, this film holds up rather decent to be now 25 years in age and looks pretty good in the Hi-Def transfer (according to reviews) but keep in mind this is the very same one you may have seen on Blu-ray Disc debut released roughly 3 years ago. This is THE SAME EXACT DISC in fact. Just keep that in mind and don’t expect any visual improvements here.

I had no idea on Hanna also, some said nice, some not. But that steelbook do look damn nice.

Yesterday, only managed to finish half of the movie.  Too tired and went to sleep very early.    Tonight will continue.

Movie: Above average but not excellent. In fact a bit not understand/confused of the purpose of this movie. Secretly chasing a genetic modified child for what? The one chasing the child not even represent government (even though she work for government but more like personal matter) . 
So, 3.5/5.

This is what I read somewhere if I am not mistaken. The US disc of the Battle of the Planet of the Apes has both the theatrical and extended version which is longer by about 10 minutes. The UK disc has only the theatrical version but it has deleted scenes of about 45 minutes presumably including those inserted in the extended version so overall it has more. Of course the UK version is without the glossy book but the cost is much cheaper and takes up very little space compared to the US version. So it all depends on what you want and how much you want to pay. Also UK version has slipcase for those interested. I opted for the UK version mainly because of the price.

BTW, bro jen77, I received my UK Exorcist only on Sat 10 Sept, a record slow from Amazon UK; maybe because of the Merdeka Raya holiday backlog. When did you receive yours since we ordered around the same time? Just curious.
