Hi, did anyone order before from HMV.com?

I order 2 blu-ray titles yesterday night, until today my status still showing "Order not yet processed", before that was locating availability store.

Both my title selection in-stock and mention ship within 24 hours.

Just curious, normally HMV took how long waiting time before processing the order and ship out?
*
It's common sense if you ordered yesterday night, it will be processed next week onwards.
Usually the order will be processed in 2-3 working days. Likely that your order will be processed for final delivery on Tuesday or Wednesday. HMV uses standard shipping method and it could possibly reach you between 10-15 days. My last order from HMV arrived after 3 weeks (21 days exactly after final delivery processing date)

Probably you can ask them to speed up the process.

54 quid for 12 titles is not bad unless they are not worth the money spent. Btw, the HMV exclusive slipcovers ..refreshing..

i was shock when i found out the $ of the slipcover is actually > than the bd itself.

however as it is collector's item, i cannot comment on the $ as it is consider "art" rather than a product anymore.

some of the seller at lowyat still sell the BD with slipcover at a resonable $, but u might have to do lots of searching.
*
Most of the 1st press Slipcovers has now..been categorized as "Rare".
The cost , obviously slightly higher than the Blu-ray price itself.

That why, if you love slipcover, is better purchase on 1st press. No need worried on how rare they are later and eventually spending more later.

RM 150 is madness for a slipcover only.

You also can get together with the BD itself, eBay is selling at US $94.99 + shipping USD $29.99 = USD $ 124.98 (RM 377.30) only! Cheap Cheap la!  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

http://cgi.ebay.com/Bram-Stokers-Dracula-B...=item43a8974b6c

They is another seller selling at USD $ 100.00 but not ship to Malaysia.
*
LYN has new FAQ Elite.. rclxms.gif notworthy.gif Nazmanson, just keep searching for the slipcover. Let me check with some of my regular eBay sellers, if they have it for as low as $8-$10

A quick check with B&N noted that the 8-disc Lion- King can be pre-ordered at USD57.77,.more than twenty dollar cheaper than AMZ.

Can anybody.confirm this?
*
It's confirmed and it could be the lowest for time being. Amazon might drop it to 49.99? Don't think so whistling.gif

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Aug 10 2011, 05:49 PM)
Hi, I have a question.

Did anyone try slip in the individual release slipcover to the normal 7-disc Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy (new release) boxset? Can it be fit? and put back the 3 disc back to the box itself together with slipcover?

Thanks for any kind help answer this.

I have the new release Pirates of the Caribbean slipcover for it but I don't own any of the film yet.

I not sure to get which version now as standalone came with 6 BD + 3 DVD but missing that extra bonus BD which only came with the 7-Disc boxset, and now I got the individual release slipcover, if it not fit, then no point I buy the boxset. But if I buy the single release, then I missing the extra bonus BD. Help! I not sure what to get for it now.

Appreciate any kind reply.

Plus, you can't confirm how many more POTC movies that will be made. Maybe 6 total? Depp is already on the verge to confirm participation in the 5th installment (reported on 6th July). So I wouldn't bother with any collections right now till they're all out.

Hard to say.
*
rclxms.gif , right decision made. It's the similar decision i had to make for Harry Potter.
I had planned to get the 1-6 boxset, but when the 7th installment was announced , i decided to get the ultimate collection set.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Blu-ray

Warner Bros. has announced that they will bring the popular webseries, Mortal Kombat: Legacy to Blu-ray on November 8th. The series, which stemmed from a low budget YouTube production by Kevin Tancharoen, will have its nine episodes brought to high definition with a SRP of $19.98.

The series was picked up by Warner Bros. Premiere after the studio was impressed by the interest generated from Tancharoen's Mortal Kombat: Rebirth web short. So far, nine episodes of the re-imagining of Mortal Kombat have been produced, all of which are available for streaming on YouTube from Machinima.

The Blu-ray will include the following featurettes:

Mortal Kombat Legacy: Fights
Mortal Kombat Legacy: Fan Made
Mortal Kombat Legacy: Expanding the Netherrealm
Mortal Kombat: Mysticism
Mortal Kombat: Gear

A SRP of $19.98 has been set for Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Pre-orders should be up on Amazon soon.

My title is related to riot affecting the BD - it is about the warehouse, please read carefully before comment, thanks.

I'm particularly worried about the riot causing so much of postponement. If the BD warehouse is in trouble , that's not my concern.
Don't be confused, all i wanted to say is the riot has caused loads of incidents around the country.
