QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Jul 2 2011, 10:05 PM) what you said is quite true, just enjoy the car and forget about small issues that doesn't play a vital role in how the car feels when being driven...those exterior things can be fixed up, but nothing compares to the experience you will get from it... i agree that the driving experience is nice..bt i it would be nicer if can build the car properly... eg.. tight fitting parts, n "gaps"... >< especially on the most expensive car for the company.... even if T & H B-segment models rides like a turtle, people still don't care because all they care is about the badge on the car is T or H only...that alone erases the sucky driving experience for most people.. I hv to say... the more u expore on the car, the more "surprise" u'll find.. >< or maybe is just my car... >< hopefully all this minor issue can b fix in the SC..... |

QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Jul 2 2011, 11:53 PM) Oh I see, sorry about the misunderstanding. Actually i accidentally notice this when i wash my car n a few inside the car la... >< didnt really check so thoroughly la... Actually gap issue is a small thing & up to an individual to judge for themselves, unless the bumper can drop off or look like wide body conversion then there is a cause for concern, I think I know why people wanna check very thoroughly because they dont feel right if there is no issue with a Proton, so they find ways and reason to make issue out of nothing so that it befits a Proton badged car... I also hope no problem at all n can last very long time... this is my 1st proton as well as 1st car also.... |

QUOTE(Daniel520 @ Jul 3 2011, 12:01 AM) LoLx sorry will try to get better angle hehehx . coz this photos are taken for fun. Than when you ask about the gap I was like O.o see if I got the pictures maybe can help u out so uploaded them. XD Our color seems different maybe coz the lighting different. lol... no nd purposely go snap le... if u want, try snap from the side... colour different probably different camera too.. ><QUOTE(SothysSaleShop @ Jul 3 2011, 12:05 AM) Soon you will be angry with your Inspira..because it will make you a daredevil on the road, just like Matrix will go from Penang to ipoh then kl this thursday... time to let it really roooaarrr!!! Did you read his ipoh trip experience, 160km/h, and he claims to be a slow driver, Bro, I am not pointing the finger to you, today when servicing 1000km at sc, saw a evo X on the sc too.... damn nice man!!! inside out!!! bt the mechanic says its driven by a 72 year old uncle.. |

QUOTE(Daniel520 @ Jul 3 2011, 12:09 AM) hahahhaha I got the feeling like that also but my SA said for first 5,000km mileage don't drive over 135 but today when I drive the car its like wanting me to go faster ... I notice inspira turning is not that good coz it feels floaty when driving over 60km/h turning turns that are abit curvy. when the meter reach till 135, u'll want to let the meter go higher cos it still can easily go up.. ><QUOTE(chyapp @ Jul 3 2011, 12:13 AM) if u no change ur rim ... still 16 inch... pump 36 ~ 38 PSI, your cornering will be the best liao.. hard to go below 1000km/h la bro.... >< if u want stability.. pump 32 ~ 34PSI on your Tyre. normally people say 1st 1000KM dun push 100km/h and above nia... if u want 120KM/h with stability... add a 10KG EVO X spoiler so to add weight to your rear but bear in mind... your rear tyre might easy to eat the tyre and cepat nak change tyre compare to normal use lo. QUOTE(chyapp @ Jul 3 2011, 12:23 AM) next gadget u need to buy is a HD camera.. so people can see clearly the gap:) hahhaahaa lol.... save up the money to change bumper better.. =Puncle also like lancer since he young... he drive rectangle shape lancer lo... now is time to drive EVO liao lo |

QUOTE(Poadster @ Jul 3 2011, 10:53 PM) Just curious, how the hell have you been driving an AUTO car??? U have been using the stick to shift from 1-6 and back down???? what do u mean by cannot be cross rotated??Hmmm..... u know how to drive an AUTO..?? Added on July 3, 2011, 10:58 pmINFO on Continental CC5 tyres... The stock Continental CC5 tyres that comes with the Inspiras are UNI-DIRECTIONAL roll tyres., means it rolls only in one direction...!! There is a marking "INSIDE" to indicate that that side is supposed to be fitted on the inside of the rims. Do take note as this also means that our CC5 tyres cannot be cross rotated, due to the uni-directional roll. |

QUOTE(Poadster @ Jul 3 2011, 11:56 PM) Sorry, I just double check the tyres again.... its only asymmetrical (INSIDE/OUTSIDE) tyres, not directional. omg! i remember that day when u do servicing, i ask them to do the alignment for me too... n i remembered they change the wheels position leh.... bt nt sure whether they cross it or nt... Asymmetrical tyres have different block patterns as compared to symmetrical tyres (they have same pattern reversed on both sides of the thread). Our tyres have bigger blocks on the outside to improve handling during corners and water repellant blocks on the inside to help improve water handling on wet roads. As such, asymmetrical tyres can only be installed the right was, INSIDE facing inside and OUTSIDE facing, outside. Now, during cross rotation of tyres, the front left goes to back right and front right goes back left, thus the term cross rotation. When this happens, the fronts that are rolling in ONE direction, will now roll in the OPPOSITE direction when cross to the back. I personally will not want my tyres to roll in a different direction esp after its been rolling in the other direction, no?? More tyre wear, more uneven forces on the tyres, etc.... i dont expect the tyres will last long... Anyway, this is my personal feelings.... sorry for any confusions caused. how do i check whether they put in the correct position?? |

QUOTE(Poadster @ Jul 4 2011, 12:29 AM) Bro, I think you are the first few to hit 20K so far, so you have to be the guinea pig and do first, then you qualify as a sifu and then can teach us padawans.... Actually when u cross rotate it, the word outside/Inside will be at same position unless u take the rim n tyre out n change the other side right? Just the difference is when u change from left to rigth wheel or vice versa, the direction of spinning will b different. Outside will still b outside... Inside will still b inside... Right?Added on July 4, 2011, 12:32 am I think it may be too late to notice now.... coz they have already changed the tyre positions ma... Just check at all you tyres, there will be a word OUTSIDE, and you are safe... if you see INSIDE, then the tyre is installed wrongly... Next time u can tell them not to cross, just do front back sway... coz personally, i dont wan my tyres to roll in a different direction and is subjected to more uneven force and faster wear... |
