what you said is quite true, just enjoy the car and forget about small issues that doesn't play a vital role in how the car feels when being driven...those exterior things can be fixed up, but nothing compares to the experience you will get from it...

even if T & H B-segment models rides like a turtle, people still don't care because all they care is about the badge on the car is T or H only...that alone erases the sucky driving experience for most people..

you must 1st take into consideration is show us here.. snap photo and show here ma.. when u say GAPS... 1CM also gaps, 1mm also gaps can very different lo...

IF THERE IS NO ANTIRUST, YOUR BONET RUSTED OFF ALREADY AS IT DOESNT COME WITH THE RUBBERISED COATING AS WELL.

Actually gap issue is a small thing & up to an individual to judge for themselves, unless the bumper can drop off or look like wide body conversion then there is a cause for concern,

I think I know why people wanna check very thoroughly because they dont feel right if there is no issue with a Proton, so they find ways and reason to make issue out of nothing so that it befits a Proton badged car...

Bro, I am not pointing the finger to you,    I am just saying generally people thinks like this. Some people are just expecting Proton to build a customized car for them where all assembly are done by hand, inspected over 1000 times and given a red carpet to receive the car at KLCC twin towers, plus road closed for this occasion, you get what I mean?   

hahahhaha I got the feeling like that also but my SA said for first 5,000km mileage don't drive over 135 but today when I drive the car its like wanting me to go faster ... I notice inspira turning is not that good coz it feels floaty when driving over 60km/h turning turns that are abit curvy.

if u no change ur rim ... still 16 inch... pump 36 ~ 38 PSI, your cornering will be the best liao..
if u want stability.. pump 32 ~ 34PSI on your Tyre.

normally people say 1st 1000KM dun push 100km/h and above nia...

if u want 120KM/h with stability... add a 10KG EVO X spoiler so to add weight to your rear but bear in mind... your rear tyre might easy to eat the tyre and cepat nak change tyre compare to normal use lo.

next gadget u need to buy is a HD camera.. so people can see clearly the gap:) hahhaahaa

The stock Continental CC5 tyres that comes with the Inspiras are UNI-DIRECTIONAL roll tyres., means it rolls only in one direction...!! There is a marking "INSIDE" to indicate that that side is supposed to be fitted on the inside of the rims.

Do take note as this also means that our CC5 tyres cannot be cross rotated, due to the uni-directional roll.

Sorry, I just double check the tyres again.... its only asymmetrical (INSIDE/OUTSIDE) tyres, not directional.

Asymmetrical tyres have different block patterns as compared to symmetrical tyres (they have same pattern reversed on both sides of the thread). Our tyres have bigger blocks on the outside to improve handling during corners and water repellant blocks on the inside to help improve water handling on wet roads.

As such, asymmetrical tyres can only be installed the right was, INSIDE facing inside and OUTSIDE facing, outside.

Now, during cross rotation of tyres, the front left goes to back right and front right goes back left, thus the term cross rotation. When this happens, the fronts that are rolling in ONE direction, will now roll in the OPPOSITE direction when cross to the back. I personally will not want my tyres to roll in a different direction esp after its been rolling in the other direction, no??

More tyre wear, more uneven forces on the tyres, etc.... i dont expect the tyres will last long...

Anyway, this is my personal feelings.... sorry for any confusions caused.

I think it may be too late to notice now.... coz they have already changed the tyre positions ma...

Just check at all you tyres, there will be a word OUTSIDE, and you are safe... if you see INSIDE, then the tyre is installed wrongly...

Next time u can tell them not to cross, just do front back sway... coz personally, i dont wan my tyres to roll in a different direction and is subjected to more uneven force and faster wear...

just wondering average fuel consumption for the inspira model? which model is better between 1.8cvt and 2.0cvt, is that worth to buy compare to honda city regardless the segment  thing, due to the pricing is the same?
