Came back from Inspira Test Drive. I drove the 1.8 CVT. The result is, I feel I'm being poisoned slowly. I was driving uphill Balik Pulau (pg-nites will know about this), even though I'm cruising at 100km/h, still feel the car is going very slow. On highway, I bet if I'll definitely hit 130/140 without realizing it.

There's 1 major complaint about the car though, its the sound insulation. I can't really hear the sound engine sound, but I could hear the road sound very clearly.

The salesman told me that they don't use service vouchers anymore as everything is online. Is this true? I'll still double check my agreement to see if the 5 years service is in there to support my case next time.

About the color, is there such thing as metallic white? I asked him but he told me that the color is not available.

Anyway, he hinted to me there's something big with the Saga going to happen this weekend.

Can anyone answer my previous questions about the service vouchers? The SA told me that service vouchers are not used anymore, as the service details are now checked online. So I won't be getting any service vouchers. I went to the SC and they too confirmed that the service vouchers are not being used anymore.

I felt the the sound when was i hitting 120-140km/h at the hilly roads at balik pulau (fraser hill equivalent road for those in mainland). Of course it is still way quieter than my Wira.

Anyway if you're in penang and looking for a test drive, I recommend you go to the proton eon center at Bayan Lepas, look for this sales guy called Khairul. He really allow you to do anything with the car. After my session, he led me a empty car park space for me try to high speed 8 turning and emergency stops. Basically it was a tyre screeching session. He wants to prove that the handling and stability of this car is very different compared to the other models.

Anyway, warranty on the timing chain is lifetime one izzit?

It sounds more like the road sound. Sound like some grinding sound. Wind sound is also present but its tolerable for me.

Guys, is it safe to pay the booking fee by cash? Or its better to make a bank draft for it?

ngjx: u inspira-ian from penang? island or mainland? cool loh, I'm currently a wira-ian in penang island. But i'm not native pg-nite. My hokkien also tampok tampok nia. What I'm worried is looking for a reliable service center/workshop here. Most of the charges here quite expensive espec for recond parts.

any idea where to get that buffer in penang? that buffer wont void any warranty right?
Btw, barring any problems I should be a proud new owner of a white inspira 1.8 CVT next week Going to place my booking fee tomorrow.

Now to get a good value for trade in for my 96 Wira...so far highest I got is 5K only

Now I get the same offer from both EON Branch and Edar Dealer (not Edar directly). Which one is more reliable? Both claim I can get the car within 2-3 days.
I checked the chasis number of the Edar side is 42xx. Rather old compared to the rest but he said is 2011.

Anyway tested the 1.3 Saga FLX too. I guess I'm one of the first few to ever test drive it

Yes, but I went at 8am, too early, and since no customer to fight with me I just went 1 round with the SA.

Other than the heavier steering, the car's pretty ok. Its a good startup car. I din't really have the chance to stress the car like the Inspira because its actually the show room unit......so...later calar mampos la me

Anyway...EON Branch and Edar dealer...which side more reliable ya

No customer yet at 8am, SA also came early into the office so we went lepak in the FLX hehehe...

And...air-con still blardeeee cold......in just 10 mins my hand already froze even though air con is at lowest settings =.= after that SA had to off the A/c and we wind down window cuz both of us cannot tahan

Any one has any idea next month got any promo? I dunno I should book today so that I can still get the 5+5 or take risk and wait until next month.

I think I'll go for the EON branch since the SA let me stress the car uphill and do all those crazy tyre screeching turnings...
