Since you challenged me to reply you and correct your english and your understanding of your car.... here goes..:-
Ask any english teacher, or even yourself, does these two sentences have the same meaning???
Pls show me which car DONT upshift when you press the accelerator all the way, in D mode???? Even if you are in SPORTS mode of a gearbox, the gears WILL upshift itself AUTOMATICALLY (pun intended) to prevent the gearbox from overheating and breaking itself. In fact, even Inspira MT gearbox will also shutdown if you keep the gear at 7,000rpm.... someone here have experienced it.

FYI, your Inspira have TWO auto mode. One where you move the gear knob to D, and it engages the CVT. For CVT gearbox, there is no FIXED gear ratios unlike conventional gears, it maintains the gears dependant on the driver/engine requirements. Thus the term Continuous Variable Transmission, because the gears are.... varies continuously...
When you shift into D, you engage it into this mode, the gear indicator in your meter reads "D"
The second mode is when you move the gear knob to the right of D, this is the stick shift mode. Pulling the knob towards you will upshift while pushing it away will downshift (did i get this right?? i cant recall as i paddle mostly?? Anyone??). As CVT doesnt have any fixed ratio, but Jatco understands that drivers being drivers may want a kick in performance in their drive, thus the "semi-auto" mode found here. In this mode, the CVT gets a "fixed" 6 gear ratio, where the driver have control over when and at what RPM does the driver want to upshift the gear. This is mainly used when you need extra kick of speed, esp when you are drag racing another car.
Your gear indicator will read "1" - "6" accordingly to your "selected" gear..
So, if i have offended your puny feelings when i asked you do you know how to drive an auto car, i am sorry. I was referring if you even know how to differentiate the auto modes in your car, as you obviously do not. Also you have commented that your auto gearbox DONT upshift when you "pedal to the metal" - that's the term for flooring the pedal - again proving that you dont know how to drive an auto car.
So, my new question to you should be: Do you now know how to drive YOUR Inspira auto car???

Poadster you misunderstand what people say easily do you see that??? I hope you see that point, basically you didnt answer my question at the first place. You just wrote something you assume what you understand from that sentence.
