No, the difference in comfort is rather big. At least comparing XM with old Camry. Also the seats in the XM were amazing. Our leather sofa can't compete. I expect new Citroens to be the same, some of the best seats I have sat on are the ones in our Xsara. Very comfortable, also suitable for long distance journeys.
The spheres aren't that difficult, but you do need someone who is familiar with this stuff. They can also be refurbished as far as I know.
Anyway, when you can spend 180k on a
car you shouldn't be so poor that FC is a big issue, or the price of spare parts. If it is, you are buying above what you can afford.
The Passat and funky?
http://www.passat.co.uk/wp-content/uploads...ssat-2011-1.jpgNot really, no. I'd argue it looks even more uncle than the Camry. The C5 is also a rather elegant car, nothing flashy.

beg to differ on that bolded part
why spend more on such parameters if u can spend less
yes the contis are all super good allround in mechanics etc etc but the super sleek citroen uses air suspension if i am not mistaken. air suspension - there is no other way to describe it - is expensive. for comparison w220 is 3-4k a pop. and u need a pair of it
of course u buy 180k surely 10k for air suspension is petty. but why pay 10k if u can pay less. the way to pay less is not to buy a 180k conti in the first place but a 180k car which has no air suspension which is the camry. plus the camry is all rounder as a car i.e resale value, not bad combo value of price, after sales, and replacement parts etc etc.
the only criticsm of the camry is the ridicolous price. for that price, without being bias, i think lower end of 140k is the best rather than 10bucks less 150k.
