Test drove the NEW camry 2.0 recently.Didnt expect much as it was just a 2.0 with 4 speed gearbox.But once i step in,you can feel the quality in the cabin.Really good feel to it.Everything felt solid and was placed where it was meant to be.Then i proceded to the drive. To be honest,I didnt expect the 2.0 engine to be good.But it was damn good for a 2.0.In fact power was above expectations.It was only a 2.0 on paper with low HP on paper but when driving the car,it felt much more powerful than that.Pickup was excellent!Besides i drove up to 120kmh and you couldnt tell it was a 4 speed because it was just so smooth and u could hardly hear the engine roar.Sound insulation was very very good.And having test drove the previous Camry,I can tell you that the new Camrys handling has improved so much it felt planted through corners and didnt have much of the floaty feeling the previous camry was famous for.Some might not like its looks but to tell you the truth,after the drive,you just want to get in again and keep driving it.

Can i give you a piece of advice? When you do test drives, you must be open enough to talk about the negative sides of your ride and not cover them up with untruth.

Ive also test driven the Camry 2.0G last week and yes NVH is good but where is your so called 'good pickup'? What were your expectations then? Were u comparing with a Viva? The 2.0L Camry is sluggish (as expected) and once you hit the 2nd gear the car goes into some semi conscious state. It was the same with the previous gen Camry. How do you expect a car as heavy as the Camry with only 146Hp and 190Nm torque to have 'excellent' pickup? This is actually common sense. Even my Optima with 163Hp, 198Nm torque is still a bit sluggish what more the 2.0 Camry. 

May i also ask where you managed to hit 120kmph and take coners at high speed? What was your test drive route?

Plus, how do you define 'interior quality'? Do tell me whats on the side door panels. Its hard plastics. What's on the front audio panel? Cheap plastics again. If u say the 2.5 Camry has got better interior quality, yes i agree but the 2.0L interior is crap for that price range. Both Toyota and Honda are cutting costs by providing much cheaper interiors as its evident in the Camry and also the new Civic.
