I am sure most Malaysian are naive and most car buyer are looking for "Brand" but not spec. Just wait and see later this year Camry will become top seller in D-Seg market Malaysia. I hope you guy keep updating this topic and believe what i say. Fyi, i am Nissan Owner lah.... Hihihih

A Toyota SA told me yesterday that the latest high spec Camry got all the gadgets you can expect from current Camry, Teana, Accord, and Passat.... not sure how true is it... or he bull shit me!

If you are big fans of Toyota Camry and planning to buy 1, please pay down payment right now. My friend is working in the Toyota showroom and he told me that all the Toyota showrooms are piling up with the new camry booking regardless of any specs provided by UMW. The waiting time for new camry could take up weeks or months after launching. One of the reason is because they do not have any existing camry stock left after recent clear stock offer. New camry launching should be within weeks time.

SEA don't have 4 season i agree. But the rainfall in SEA is high at all year long. Old gen camry got VSC and TRC but new gen removed but without adding other active safety feature. Its normal those buying new camry are aka BTC (Bo tat Chek) uncle auntie. However, new generation ppl would probably think twice before buying this new camry especially 2.5V with this price and spec. From my point of view, no offense! A young man who buying a new camry 2.5V version in Malaysia is either he is a BTC ppl or just want to let uncle and auntie know he is a big fish. hahahah..... I wonder which japanese or euro brand of the highest spec D-Segment car nowadays did not come with active safety VSC feature? I could only think of all new camry... Anymore highest spec D-seg so suck, mind to share??

New Camry is one of the D-Segment car that i highly looked at before it launch!! Toyota Camry is famous for it build quality, reliability and i believe Toyota is one of the ealiest Japanese car in Malaysia using TRC!!! Safety is the priority in all aspect, many manufacturer always trying to emphasize human safety consideration in their design!! Its obviously Asian's life are cheapo in Toyota's mindset. Anything can cut for cost saving, but not safety.... New Camry Its truly disappointing me...
