Actually I think I've seen more K5 on the road than I've seen Passat these days. To be frank, the new Camry isn't as hot as I thought it would be. It's still probably the no.1 seller but I don't think Toyota is really doing as many numbers as they thought they would.

Not worth the money unless comfort is your first and foremost priority.

There are just so many better D segment cars out there available that gives you better bang for your buck and balance.

But others car maintenance is higher if compare to toyota ..is it ??

Japanese cars are more or less comparable to each other, so between Toyota, Honda and Mazda etc, they should be very similar. I think the Koreans are comparable as well in maintenance cost.

Yes, Europeans tend to cost more than the Koreans and Japanese.

If comfort is the number one priority then I'd go for the Citroen C5.

Isn't Honda much more expensive to maintain than Toyota? Volvo the schedule looked pretty expensive. For my Renault I think it is rather affordable. VW also not that expensive? Not sure. At least their longer servicing interval helps offset some of the cost, and you loose less time. Also don't forget that some car makers offer free servicing for a while or longer warranties.

The C5 should be more comfortable, but there's only 1 service center in the entire Klang Valley and 1 in Penang? That's kind of troublesome.

Honda servicing cost isn't more expensive compared to Toyota. They're actually similar in pricing, but they force you to go in for servicing every 6 months or 10,000km (whichever comes first) under the new servicing schedule. Failure in doing so will void your warranty, for people who don't drive their cars much, it's a very stupid rule.

Renault, you don't have any choice right now except for the Clio and Megane. Not unless you buy 2nd hand.

Not surprising, considering Mazda isn't that popular compared to the big 3. But you have 3 years of free servicing and warranty. So for the next 3 years, don't worry about it.

After using my Camry 2.5V for a year.
1. I impressed many people for the tremendous huge space.
2. Since this is my first D segment car, I cannot comment much regarding comfortness. But,, I can say that it is nice to sit in it as compared to a C200.
3. It is not a powerful car. Even a 2.0 Civic can produced more power than it. However, it still allows me to show off on top of Titiwangsa.

1. No doubt. But anyone who has ever been in a Camry should already have expected that.
2. C200 is from a smaller car segment. But to let you know, interior-wise, the Camry is even bigger than the E class
3. Wrong. Your car should have more power. 0 to 100 times actually in the 8.8s range, which is actually quite good for a big car like Camry. The Civic will be more nimble because it is lighter and shorter. On a windy roads, the Civic will be a better car to drive compared to your Camry.
