i think nokia X10 will be more amusing

Nokia will definitely pack a slightly better camera but how will they fare against HTC's experience in customizing OS.

UK will start selling this titan 7th October. here no status.

HTC is getting used to the designs.
dont really now how to differentiate between the model or even win7 or android mobile other then looking at the UI itself. and the battery cover.

Radar is a "breakthrough" though.
i think HTC should make their phone in more vibrant colors like what nokia is doing...windows phone supposed to be fancy and all.

i did have a fews friends gave up on htc because of the repeating designs.

Do take note that Radar dont have inter-changable battery. but Titan can.

titan rocks. the screen size just keeps on going up...
its makes single hand handling impossible for small hands..

yeah i do read somewhere earlier that radar battery not removable.

Dont feel much different in weight actually coz been using case on sgs II unless if ur sgs II doesnt hv any casing then definitely Titan is heavier. But 160g is still nice to hold with.

whr did you get hand-on experience?? how much per unit??

Hi everyone, i just got my Titan yday. I love the screen !!
So huge and crispy idk why it looks better than my SGS II.
Kinda new to WP7 so there are many things to learn and also most of the apps on Android that I use doesn't hv on WP7 but hopefully I can live without it. Love the people hub and how they integrate it but i just doesn't like they sync all of my fb friends into my contact list.

now, we can't do sideload on titan yet, have wait for another month before XDA hacker release their 2nd generation WP7.5 HSPL / RSPL.

perhaps you can put some review especially the battery life.

went to xda see those forum, my brain spinning like mad. All new terms on jailbreaking / rooting.
So what is sideload?

Battery life will look at it after few days later. Currently after 2 hrs drop to 84%, playing fb 5min in class then I felt my phone getting warmer.

I got the same situation when i first got my SGS II.

WP7 we say Sideload.

jailbreak + crackapps = sideload

my HD7 can Sideload more than 100apps + recently just upgrade to 32GB

nope. there is no another marketplace like ipoo with all cracked apps like cydia. but there's a downloader can download official marketplace for all region is hiding somewhere out there.

it let u download sideload-able apps/games in the XAP format where XAP also the only files allow to sideload to chevron unlock device.

so with chevron unlock my phone is sideload? meaning in can install homebrew apps? Can chevron unlock tools unlocked Titan?

no. Chevron unlock u have to do it before NoDo(7392). Only first generation wp7 can roll back before NoDo(7392).

Titan default come with Mango(7720). U can try the chevron lab to allow u sideload. But only allow u sideload 10 apps/games only.

So what will happen after 10 apps / games?

Curios about Winphone 晕 疯internet explorer function.
IE support applet, Java in web, SSL security?
Some kind of RHB, HL bank internet banking?

reaching 10 apps or games you have to remove some apps.

Samsung Focus s Hits the market today, well the US market, available for $549 or around that...Now I am wondering when wil it hit the Asian Market, especialy here in Malaysia, kaaping the Focus S on mind, i stil dont see when is the Titan coming out here...
And technicaly speaking if the Galaxy S2 is now around RM1800 with a dual core processor, then shudnt he Focus S be lower than that, and so shud be the HTC titan?
So any1 has any idea when is the Titan coming out here???

BTW, TITAN is not coming to here, thats why it isn't here. Blame the low popularity of WP7 and small palms of most Asian for it...

Also, you should not compare WP7 to Android in such way, they are different. You should also factor in the license fee
of WP7 and also specs/build quality of WP7 phones. Though, I do agree that if the SRP of Focus S is over than that of SGS2, it is sure not going to sell, at least till it drop price/popularity of WP7 increase.

No offence on the comparision to the Android n WP7, i mean i was just refering to the pricing, but yeah, keeping the licensing in view i do get the idea.
Damn man so u mean we are limited to the RADAR and HD7 etc...n not the Titan and not even (looking at it) the Focus S?

Battery life on Titan is not so good atm. Worst than my SGS II and I cant barely get 10hours from it. Not a heavy user and does the same thing on my SGS II. I wont switch back to Android but hopefully there is a fix for this in the next update or so.

Don't forget that most android manufacturers pay Microsoft a patent licensing fee also, so the price of licensing wp7 shouldn't be too different.

The reviews for this phone is "OK"..still thinking if it's worth getting one. I sold my RADAR and is now back to the 4S but I still like the Mango OS. Just so refreshing.

this guy operate his business at home. if u cod at his place.. u will need to drive to a housing area and stop by a house. u went into the house and it will be tons of gadget equipments faulty or new.

if u scare and u have time... get the RM200 to his house and wait for 2-3 hours to get ya phone.

nope... i am happy with my HD7. so i am not hurry to change to titan now.

brighter screen, very slim, lighter than HD7. and the audio level has increase 50% louder compare to HD7 audio very soft and with 1.5Ghz run faster than HD7.
very happy with it..

WPCentring, 10 Incoming Call total time about 20min , 10smsing , Tango Video Call 10min, whre i post earlier on official WP7 battery level was 80% around 830pm, now Wifi still on listen to song through BT Headset . 10:50PM battery still at 70%

HTC have righten up the bootloader. not easy as usual. u may go into the bootload. but once u try to flash a ROM inside. it will return an error and locked your phone. and ya phone will be half brick.

u need to go back services center to unbrick it with warranty void.

DFT tried this on 3 set of radar. all failed

i tot htc suppose to leave the bootloader unlock for developer?? why now make it harder??

that apply for droid... not wp7. droid got the open bootloader privillage. and wp7 got the tighten up effect.

try the xboxlive games "let's golf 2" see it work or not. can work on those interop-unlocked such as advanced configuration tool or touchxplorer?
