Wondering anyone know any shop selling Kinect and have demo unit to try out?
I recall there are 1 or 2 shop in Cathay Damansara, probably will check it out when got time.
Went to Sony Shop and tried the PS3. The gamepad is too big for my 6 yrs old son and it is too complicated for me. I can't even handle PSP button so PS3 is no no.
I am testing out Wii now. My fren is good enough to loan me his Wii with a pair of numchuck and few games. Wii definitely considerable as it's good for family playing together.
Now last one to test is Xbox+Kinect.

Many thanks forumers for sharing the info.
I am a bit concern on this statement:-
"You need approx 6meter away from the Kinect camera and minimum 1.5 meter wide to move around depending on your size."
Basically my LCD is wall mounted and the distance between the LCD and my sofa is about 4m. Width is no problem as there are plenty of room to move left and right.
I wonder distance is a problem?

QUOTE(Edison83 @ Jul 2 2011, 11:46 AM) OMG, not 6m, is 6ft sorry for the confusion.. LOL....Thanks Edison for the clarification. If 6 ft then I have more than enough distance. My fren just came back from SG said they are doing Kinect Roadshow in SG school. Wonder any promotional price there. Shall I buy in SG? Is there any problem buying in SG (Beside the warranty) ? Thanks all in advance for your reply.

My bro just told me that problem with Kinect is that while you playing, other people cannot sit behind you or sit within the Kinect range and they have to sit at the side because it will confuse the sensor? Anyone have Kinect can comments on this?
Thanks.

QUOTE(Sd-RawK-Cab25 @ Jul 10 2011, 04:38 PM) For the dashboard and some games, yeah you can't have more than one person in front of the Kinect. For multiplayer games like Kinect Sports/Adventures, 2 people can play at once but side by side. It's not really a problem per se, Kinect just works like that. Added on July 10, 2011, 4:41 pmbtw, you can tryout the Kinect at the Asian Games Channel (AGC) store in Cathay Cineleisure. It's a few shops after Gamers Hideout, beside the hobby store. Many Thanks. Will try out there.
