A good project would be snapped up in no time, as compared to one that needs to be continuously sold over a long period of time. :-)

Just my 6 cents.

Was informed that OSK awarded contracts to Eureka on 24 months basis, will it be able to be VP earlier as promised from 48 months earlier?

Highly unlikely, given that its 40 storeys high, completing it within 2 years means working round the clock even at night.
But its interesting that they are giving it on a 24 months basis, the contract.

Yup, Singapore can do it in 2 years with superb quality.

China can do it in < 1 year but quality unknown.

Normally for condo in Singapore is 1 floor in 1-2 weeks using cement casting.... or 2 floors in 1-2 week using pre cast concrete. Saturday work full day n half day on sunday. Some work until 11pm during working day.

Building the super structure is quick. Only interior takes time..

Schedule H states 36 months and I guess that figure is a reasonable figure after considering all the factors. Anything much faster than that would certainly incur extra cost and thus, not a wise decision from a business point of view.

Yeah, I also think that if that is too early for VP, like 2-3 years, probably we won't be able to see any "progress" in commercial advancement in Cyberjaya, within the next 3 years it should be quite empty, but when come to next 4-5 years onwards, we should be able to see "something" in Cyberjaya.....hopefully that time commercial elements will be there when Solstice is ready for VP, so it wont be a boring place to live with....

Yes, its stated clearly in the S&P. So you can't claim for LAD even though it goes against Schedule H (36 months for high rise) since you have already agreed to it. Signed the S&P in February 2013, so I'm guessing its going to be by January 2017?

Rumours of privatization of OSK Property. Not sure how the project will be affected.
Share price has certainly appreciated a lot since its low a few years back.

LOL
Unless you've insider news, you'll stay a few hundred metres away.
From 0.80 to 0.13 in 15 months, you'll most probably thought that the company would close shop by now. Today, it's at 1.36, 10x the price when it bottomed out back in 2009

as you know "insider news" is how all the moneybags make their money in malaysia.
perhaps things like this started long ago but i really notice blatant misuse of power from 2000 on-wards.
