Guess you don't know much about OSK then.They have A LOT of experience in hotel management. The big boss owns PJ Development too, the company that is in charge of the Swiss Garden brand....
A recent corporate development announcement is that OSK Property and PJ-DEV could possibly merge to create a much bigger entity.
More likely that they know the hotel business and industry too well, that's they foresee challenging times, that's why they are skeptical to have a hotel there. If they do so, they really need to work hard on it to make it a success, unlike opening a hotel at a location with high demand, then work will be easy.
