Guys, just wanna share. with the new updated Gingerbread 2.3, my GPS location lock with Sygic is amazingly fast. Now, it'll only take less than 10 seconds to get my location fixed even I'm inside my house, near the window. If I'm outdoor, it'll take less than 6 seconds. :-)
Previously with Froyo 2.2, it will take around 3-5 minutes. That is a huge difference. |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 8 2011, 12:02 AM) Added on July 8, 2011, 12:04 am that is not very good ; I consistently lockup in 1-2 seconds on Sygic Aura at all places even on stock rom and all versions of cooked Froyo ( Modaco and Overcome ). This is even achieved inside my house |

guys, only recently after I close any apps and wants to return to the main screen/home screen. I am left with a black screen (just the home icon) for about 5-6 seconds, only then I can see all my apps/home widgets.

im using Umobile for RM68 p.m for 5GB data usage. speed is quite good.
at home i can get average like 900kps to 1.4mbps. my house is on the 11 floor. outside i can get around 1.2mbps up to 2.4mbps. celcom is worst in data connection. dun bother to try. talking from my own experience. :-) |

yeah, it's true. GPS will definitely drains your battery. just get a car charger and plug it in when navigating.
