yes agree on this, samsung seems like "big small eyes" standard for both model.... get a 3g version is better investment, and good resell value also for future.

after watching the youtube and samsung spec. i believe that samsung going to split existing tab user to 2 group. cause i don't see the new tab 7.7 comes with any sim slot. and mayb honeycomb not design for phone but solely for tablet?

looks like Samsung trying to convince user that if they want tablet+phone function, go for Note, else go for any of the 3 galaxy tab that suit them.

oh thanks for the clarified... hope both model can launch together with ip5...then we as consumer can choose wisely . and of cos hope the price will not be as expensive as initial tab 7 launching price.

does any 1 try this rom before on ur tab? i like the interface, looks like IOS platform... i search on the official website it didnt support tab 7. scare will not be compatible when install..

ok thanks... 1 more problem, when i want to install apps from market, my tab will said insufficient memory and i cant install it... but when i check my tab memory, under setting,sd card and device storage, sd card i left 166mb out of 7.46gb, usb storage i got 8.11gb out of 12.66. but after i try few more times, it installed and run with no problem.


any one seens this problem before? thanks.

oh...yes yes yes....thanks for the feedback... i going to try it this few days.... cant tahan the lag performance already with stock rom...

ah yes.... finally got few ppl try using muiu already......i like it cause the interface is smooth and clean like iOS.... but too bad some of the function still didnt work well... that time i think might b due to my bad experience on flash the rom,..so i restore back everything...so scare that time... hehehe....

hi, when i access the folder inside the tab, i notice that below the root folder, got a lot of activity folder....for my case i got activity1 - activity7.... what is that for? was it like Windows temporary folder? can be delete?

yes i connect to iclip music as handfree and also listen to music. 3g full day canonly last for around 8 - 10 hours only. with 3g on whole day surf internet facebook email light phone and sms.

question :

i set 3 4 email account on my tab, 1 of cos is gmail. 2 is company email account and 1 hotmail. Gmail i set as Gmail program, the other 3 i set at stock email program. for hotmail, i hv a problem, i can sync and read, but those read email in hotmail will still show unread when i login to hotmail in pc. any problem on the setting? gmail and company mail got no problem. actually i have the same problem setting hotmail on my ip4 also....


any one encounter this and got solution?

hi guys, finally i found the solution...actually this is the iphone lowyatt forum teach me the method setup on iphone, the same concept can me apply to to andriod also.

here is the step.
when creating hotmail email account, we jsut need to set it as exchange server, and the server address put as m.hotmail.com

thats it. tested on my tab and iphone, once the email read, both will get the latest status. same goes to pc as well.

whats the error message when u failed install kies? can print screen?

some ppl are selling for 1-2 months old unit and price drop to 1200 + -. you may also consider that....

so once root and instal custom rom, there is no way back restore back to stock rom without their notice?
