what's google+ all about? tried googling it, and all i understood was that its some sort of social networking thingy to counter facebook..?

guys, regarding the camera update to solve the pink spot issue,
i downloaded this SCEF02 - GalaxyS2_CameraFirmware-11.6.01.apk from XDA as mentioned in the last thread, do i just simply install it or copy it n paste is system/apps..?

Added on July 8, 2011, 2:38 amfirst u have to know why u wanna root the phone in the 1st place, cuz rooting isnt necessarily like jailbreak in iphone where u can download paid apps for free
in android, rooting allows u access to system files n folders so that u can make changes/mods to ur phone
also, certain apps require the phone to be rooted , eg: Titanium Backup

rooting using the Chainfire method is pretty much fullproof if u follow the instructions word by word

black markets arent very reliable, they work only when their servers are working.
i think its been down for quite a while now
and there's also a risk of downloading malware/virus from other markets which might seriously damage ur phone

this theme has the "data" option when u pull the notifications tray down!
i noticed that Darkyy's SGS2 ROM has this option 2
