You're not outdated. You're running the latest official firmware for South East Asia. Your baseband and build info is correct, only your kernel is outdated (XWKE7 is UK latest official firmware). You can flash to CF-Root XWKF1 Kernel.

Yes you need to wipe if planning to move in or out from Villain.

Besides installing apps like Mobile defense (no more in market), Where's My Droid, etc., is there other way to locate a lost/stolen phone?

I have experience losing my phone overseas (dropped on taxi while rushing to airport). Airport staff helped to call my numbers but the taxi driver did not pick up, so I knew I can kiss good-bye to my phone. Under such circumstances I can only cancel sim card. I didn't subscribed to Mobile Defense paid version so cannot wipe data. GPS spotted my phone but I was catching my flight back home...

When I was back, I called Samsung helpdesk and asked if they can do anything like to locate the IMEI, and they said "No, such services not available in Malaysia..."

NO NEED - you only need to do such for Motorola phones or Dell phones. Just flash the new rom after you have clear Cache partition, at Advanved - clear Dalvik cache and clear data/factory reset

dont put high hopes on the ultra crystal..it it a fingerprint magnet as well..you might want to get a matte SP instead..but sacrifice the beauty of super amoled plus

facebook and twitter refresh every 4 hours. 30 minutes usage in 1 day(around 1 hour in 2 days?)
check in using foursquare(around 10 locations for 2 days)
gmail(around 6 emails in these 2 days)
Quota app(to track my mobile usage). auto refresh when telco(vodafone) refresh their usage in their website
broadband app to track my ISP usage(refresh every 12 hours)
weather on fancy widget refresh every 6 hours(but i always refresh it manually)
few messages(SMS and whatsapp) and calls
little bit of browsing
around 7-9 MV from youtube
My Beach live wallpaper
wifi always on at home and 3g when im outside
middle of low and half in brightness
10 minutes of music(poweramp)
and other very minor usage

i use dolphin HD click on big blue board "register your mobile phone here" still same as using pc, no respond 
the shop did help me register the warranty thing, but this one should be for GPS locating right?
i registered the samsung account using pc
how to delete the samsung account ya?
