hey bro, since you're lurking around for the case, don't forget to drop the comment here as well when you found the case. I don't have time at the moment to bought my case and SP. currently just using the original samsung leather flip case, and even that is a free gift...and my gf already saying mine looking like a calculator with that case. LOL. deng her.

theres not much pink spot on mine in the beginning pun... its like very very very light pink circle.. after installing, still there, but even lighter..you need to upload it on the computer to see it clearly..

For those scared of dropping ur phone on the floor or break it in half, this is the casing to get. you'll have the safest feeling for ur phone and will feel that it won't even have a scratch even u drop it on the floor... protect front screen too by wrapping the side of the screen firmly so ur phone won't drop out on impact. build quality is solid though the back of the casing looks like mat which looks rough. i like it a lot.

Con: the biggest con will be... thickness, now my phone is very thick even thicker than iphone 4 lol. but to me thicker also make me feel better when put inside my jeans pocket, because the phone itself without casing makes me feel like it can break into half anytime when i tie my shoes or sit inside car.

PS: the free screen protector looks very clear ( i choose clear version) and much better compare to the one i got that was free when i got it from maxis. happy.gif

Yes, SGS II can be rooted using many methods, from the easiest, to the hardest..

There is no different type of OS from what i know. SGS II is using Android alone. If i may correct your question, you'd want to ask about the ROMS. Yes, there's many ROMS for SGS II, and to answer your question, there is no good answer in particular. If you're a new Android user, try to understand about Litening ROM, then proceed with others until you found which is the best and suits your needs.

A rooted SGS II do helps in increasing the UI performance.. but it's very unlikely one can feel the differences unless you actually understand what you do.
