Yahoo, my SGP Ultra Capsule Casing and SGP Oleophobic SP arrived today!

Just ordered last Thursday and Friday respectively and both came today....from Exportprive.....not bad




I screwed up 1 piece of the Oleophobic SP, fortunately got 1 extra.......

No leh, my White coloured one is okay...no fingerprints seen at all....it looks great. Is yours Black in colour?

I have done mine already...about 5 minutes because I have done it before on my old SGS....

Just that this time I forgot to peel off the correct Sticker....it is counter intuitive...have to peel off sticker No. 2 first, then Sticker No.1.....I peel No.1 first...habis....

Now the SP is applied perfectly, no bubbles, no rainbow effect...I'm happy....

I try to rub rub a bit with my fingers, still cannot see leh.......anyway, as long as it is not obvious and I cannot see, it's fine with me...actually it is a little bit glossy hence difficult for finger prints to stick on...

You should consider either Crystal Clear or Oleophobic. Don't go for those anti-fingerprint or matte type...looks grainy and blur, right?

I got a free Belkin Matte SP when I bought a Belkin Case....the SP was matte and grainy...i tore it out on the same day...can't stand it....spoil the Super Amoled Screen effect...haha

The Oleophobic is great (at least to me)...I have it on my old SGS as well...

They are both clear type. Oleophobic has an oil-resistant coating...initially you will feel the SP a bit sticky and not so smooth...but after you use it for a few hours, then it is okay.

Actually, there are no perfect and scratchproof SP....over time, it will get scratched eventually...that is from my experience with my 1 year old SGS.....

I have tried both Ultra Crystal and Oleophobic for my old SGS...both are good and last for a few months and then you might start to see some fine scratches....depending on how you take care of it...

I have not tried Ultra Optics because last time SGS doesn't have...

Anyway, if you stick with SGP Steinheil SP, it will be fine because they are one of the best...I have tried others, some have rainbow effects, some starts to peel off after a few days/weeks...

Happy shopping......as for me, I'm happy with my SGP sp for now....

First you have to decide whether you want a clear or matte sp.

That will help to streamline your choices....


Clear = clearer display but more prone to fingerprints

Matte= less clear but better to resist finger prints

Yes, I guess one has to pay a small price to get a beauty....hardwork, perseverance, endurance, patience but it is all worth it when you get hold of it...

I had to queue 3-4 hours (standing all the way) to get my SGS2 at RM799 during launch day.....people complain about the long queue...BUT once when we got our SGS2, all the pain and suffering was forgotten..

The demand for SGS2 worldwide is tremendous, and probably Samsung Korea is having a hard time manufacturing the SGS2 from their factory fast enough...Benny posted a link, Samsung sold 3 million SGS2 in 55 days.....which is equivalent to 54,545 units per day or 2272 units per hour....can you imagine the quantum we are talking about here...

Actually, I'm thankful that Samsung is willing to produce such a high end specs for SGS2 at a reasonable price...imagine if it is RM2500 or RM2800!!!!...and the specs is one of the best in the world now (iphone 4 falls flat in comparison)....simple example, 2Mp front camera...how many smartphone has that? less than 5?

So, to all my friends who are still trying to get a SGS2 ...persevere on....once you get it, you will be happy.....at least that is how I feel...

Same here. I never wanted to part with my SGS but the RM799 offer was too hard to resist! Haha...
