crap, last night charge 10 100%, wake up and found out my battery drop to 60% due to wifi sharing and i NEVER on my wifi connection...heard it's a bug for Android 2.3.3..hope to get a fix soon..

I had this happen once. What you can do is you can use Titanium Backup to freeze WiFi sharing. Don't worry, its a separate process from the WiFi connection, so it doesn't affect WiFi when you need it. And if anything doesn't work, can unfreeze easily.

Guys, just want to clarify something. is it just me or is our phone suffering from death grip issues as well? im not talking about phone signal but wifi signal. even im close enough to the access point, just by griping bottom 1/3 of the phone will reduce the wifi signal tremendously. Heck even a light touch to that area also will compromise the signal. do any of you aware about this? if not maybe you guys can give it a try just to confirm? if indeed our device is suffering from this issues, can a phone case help to solve/reduce the problem?

I wouldn't call it a death grip as the wifi still works fine, but yes, my signal does drop if I grip the phone.

Full charge at 9am. A mix of 3G and WiFi, about 2.5 hours of fruit ninja, an hour of web browsing, some msging, and I run the nice but battery draining Sakura Falling livewallpaper. Currently at 40% (4pm). Props to smaberg and his touch x-treme ROM. Too bad he's joining up with villainmod now. Guess I'll eventually have to switch over to villain, tho the mod I'm really holding out for is CM7

Run task manager and what apps are draining your ram, also there is an option in task manager to free all ram at one go. Then try again

Using app killers and freeing up RAM isn't really necessary, nor good, for android phones.

This is one of the many articles about this. Read up a bit.

To un_id, what I'd do if I were in your shoes would be to check on the CPU usage of your device. You may have a badly coded app hogging up CPU cycles, thus the lag you feel. I personally had only a week experience on stock ROM, but I felt no lag during that period of time, except when I had one homescreen page that had the youtube app, news app etc on it. Too much animation on that page, plus my Sakura Falling livewallpaper I think. Even then mine was rooted and I used Titanium Backup to freeze a bunch of Samsung apps that I had no use for.

I would like to recommend ADW Launcher to those who think TouchWiz is laggy. This launcher is the bomb man. Very customizable.

The only thing i miss now from TouchWiz is the Calendar widget. Anything similar to that in market?
