QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 2 2011, 12:14 PM) sure got fee or only for certain card? hmm, i just back from senq too..i ask again the supervisor 2 yrs is senq warranty and 1 yr from samsung..but they still send to samsung for repairing within that 2 yrs.. according to her, as long as it is the handset defeat, they will repair except you drop, water get in or sweating or any human causes which make the screen not so sensitive..she said this happen before..customer's handset after checking by samsung, it is cause by the sweat.. so they charged him for the repair.. but i do heard my fren said before, senq's warranty is a bit strict and they always make sure its technical defeat before they repair for u..and the extended warranty for the extra 2 yrs is rm179 after she check on the computer system.. they increase the price already.... anyway, if you check SenQ FB, one reply to some's Q abt 3yrs warranty -- SenQ say3yrs is manufacturer's warranty... i did a screenshot liao... but i m wondering... is their warranty claim easy and hassle free? dun wanna end up when i try to claim, they give 1001 excuses... Added on July 2, 2011, 12:16 pm u need to install a diff skype version... check Pg1, if i remember correctly. it should have been posted there... QUOTE(xsaintzx @ Jul 6 2011, 01:12 PM) From my experience of buying from senQ (LCD), they said after the manufacturer's warranty has finished, in this case is 1 year from SME, if your phone is spoiled on the 2nd or 3rd year of the warranty, they will send to SME for you and bear the repair cost that SME charged. For the 4th or 5th year I'm not really sure, but the salesperson has said something like if the phone parts are already obsolete, you can exchange for product voucher of the same value of your item during purchase. what i heard last time from my fren is that if lets say your phone is rm2099..so 2nd and 3rd yr they will only repair your phone up to rm2099...and then 4th to 5th yr another rm2099 if you extend it..anything exceed it, they will consider not to repair and give you a voucher base on the amount allocated or left over before or they will estimate your hp cost at that time if obsolete..after 3yr maybe your phone only sell at rm1000 in the shop.. so u only get rm1000 voucher..However, these are all statements from senQ salesperson, still don't know how the warranty is going to work out when you are really trying to claim warranty on 2nd or 3rd year. Need someone with experience to clarify. Added on July 6, 2011, 1:29 pm QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 6 2011, 01:16 PM) i asked a senheng guy and he said as per all their phones, they send to a reputable 3rd party to fix it. parts are of course original parts, but they dun guarantee its not re-cond (its fair since even Dell 3yrs warranty may give you recond parts). he also gave me a name, but i can't remember. he said this company got the deal to service all senq/ senheng phones claims. i saw their service receipt and report.. its for notebook..they still send to highpoint for repair..sales supervisor who work there showed me all the fault of the notebook to explain to me how 'fragile' acer is and how important is the extend warranty but if you go SenQ FB page, the SenQ fella said 3yrs manufacturer's warranty... not sure if they SenQ guy deleted the post already or not. it was mentioned last week. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 6 2011, 01:44 PM) originally quite keen to get from SenQ but after calculating... vs buying from SEP 1U, i think I'm towards SEP 1U now. hmm agree with you.. the free gift from pre order for SEP is free but pwp from SenQ need top up rm99 comparing... * 2% interest for CC instalment (12mths) for SEP. this is abt rm40. senQ charging rm65 processing fee for 2yrs installment (using Maybank CC). * pre-order for SEP 1U, got freebies * SEP 1U offers 2yrs SME warranty. SenQ up to 3yrs... but need to pay rm12 for membership. however, main concern is the 2nd and 3rd year warranty. no one was able to give good feedback -- and now got so many conflicting reports about how the additional warranty is covered. plus i recall 1-2yrs back, a lot of people complained about SenHeng warranty claims. but the SenHeng guy i spoke to did say that phone parts are all ori... the only thing is... it might not be brand new when replacing. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 6 2011, 02:19 PM) oh ya... forgot to factor in senq's rm50 discount (product voucher). i heard need to renew..got one case happen last month, the membership expired..when go to claim warranty, they refuse to accept until u pay for renewal.. but if u no claim warranty within the 2nd and 3rd yr, then save the rm12x2.. for warranty, i tot only need to pay for 1yr membership -- when you buy the product. after that, if claim warranty, still need to show membership card? i tot no need? if yes... then ya... rm36 for 3yrs warranty. and 12 months installment the processing fee is cheaper.. only thing is need to pay for the pwp item This post has been edited by Hico: Jul 6 2011, 02:24 PM |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Jul 6 2011, 02:36 PM) 5yrs peace of mind doing ROM flashing, etc... cannot work, just send back to SenQ... lol... i saw a customer who bring his phone to senq last week.. he cant use it after he install android into window's os..SenQ refuse to help in claim the warranty.. rm2424 over 5yrs... works out to rm 484.8 or rm40 per month. good deal. for me... i just can't get over the SenQ warranty fears. Added on July 6, 2011, 3:26 pm QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jul 6 2011, 03:11 PM) Anymode = Samsung official korean partner/subsidiary. And it's just a stand, not a charger. THOUGH, I can stand my phone on one side and charge with my charger. i ask them before regarding this, it can be transfer..but need lots of procedure.. and the sales person said that if i sell my hp, just ask the buyer claim the warranty using the invoice..they can check thru their system... it easier than transfer the onwnership lol.. Quoted for truth. The iPhone is retarded in this sense (no REAL multitasking and push nots instead of REAL background daemons) so battery life is comparatively stellar. My heavily modded i4 also had crap battery life really, only a few hours longer in actual use compared to my SGS2. Just attractive advertising lol. I got my 2 years SEP SGS2 pun because of an assured bump in resale value due to 2 years warranty. Don't think the extreme 5 years warranties at Seng Heng/SenQ is transferable so, it's useless in that sense. Plus I MIGHT JUST use it that long if nothing AS interesting pops up in the 2 years to come. UNLESS you plan to change (or already are changing) phones every 5 years lol.
