QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 1 2011, 09:57 AM) you need root to do it tweak voltage use Tegrak overclock ultimate. I undervoly about 75mv across board n it gives you better battery life and generate lower heat levels you can always change values anytime and reset back to defaults did you tweak the values for internal voltage as well?

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Jul 1 2011, 02:00 PM) No, I reflashed to VillainPhat 1.4 (was using VillainLite before). Thankfully I have TB to save my ass from a LOT of app reconfigurations. Oh and my SGP stuff is in KL... Yay! Now havta go back and get it (from Lipis). Best JuiceDefender? SetCPU profiles lol. you mean to say that on VillainLite, WidgetLocker was screwing your processer's cycles but now its working fine on VillainPhat?

SGP Ultra Capsule is a fingerprint magnet. Just few minutes using it and the grease can be seen all over the back. Other than that, it looks and fits fine

In tegrak overclock there is a tweak to change IO Scheduler, which would be the best choice? (cfq, deadline or noop)

Quoting someone from XDA regarding charging the battery with a higher Amperage: QUOTE Samsung chargers usually have an output of 700mA at 5v while HTC's have 1A at 5v meaning HTC's will charge faster.
Charging batteries faster with higher amperage chargers does save time, but the batteries also usually discharge faster and will degrade over a shorter period of time than would be the case when using more "mild" chargers with lower amperage.
If you plan on charging your phones at night while you sleep, choosing the lower amp charger will give you better battery life (and you won't have to worry about the fact that it takes 3 hours to charge). Using very high Amperage like 2.1A (which is meant for Ipads) to charge is bound to degrade your battery life faster. But for some, they don't mind paying for a new battery after probably 6-8 months because they rather have fast charging time. If you charge it overnight, then the good old samsung wall charger (0.7A) will do just fine.

I would like to recommend ADW Launcher to those who think TouchWiz is laggy. This launcher is the bomb man. Very customizable.
The only thing i miss now from TouchWiz is the Calendar widget. Anything similar to that in market?

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jul 7 2011, 09:02 AM) If you just sign up a phone package without data you cannot receive/ send SMS. Some people want this way. If you have a data plan and you disable it you won't receive SMS. Most phone plan come with both but you said you don't want data at all SMS works with or without data plan. You don't need data plan to sms. If this is the case, i think those using nokia 3310 also need to sign up for data plan to sms................
