Why not? S2 is a pretty good phone. Big screen, excellent browser, fast processors, etc. I am using the stock ROM and don't see an issue with it. It is not necessary to customize the phone.

Learn how to do it.
To be honest , this phone is easier to use compared to my previous phone (N8)

Guys...i try to revert back to touchwiz from litening rom and already download stock rom with stock fw. now i'm stuck when there are 4 tar files after extracted.the question is...which file should go to which box in odin?

FOllow the guides available and it is near to impossible to have issues with. Just don't worry and remember to read before doing anything.

Anyway - just look at the file names - is obvious : the one you see with word phone or modem - PHONE, CSC = CSC, main file - PDA . The other file is probably the pit file ??

guys....need help. been trying to root my phone since morning but failed to do so.

i failed at the first hurdle. my KIES could not run properly on my win xp machine.

error --- Kies.Common.DeviceServiceLib.FileService.CoreWrapper.DevFileServiceWrapper threw an exception.

anyone experienced this before?

also, a friend of mine keep asking me not to root saying S2 is already very good on its own. :T should i? should i not?

Not true .....Some developers like AngeloROM packed the modem in a zip file which u can flash thru CWM ....... Just follow the guide if it ask u to flash thru ODIN or CWM
