I have a parcel from Australia. The seller sent it through Australia Post. The tracking number given was LC738542518AU. OK , now let's assume it has reached Malaysia. I know Australia Post and POS Malaysia are under EMS and should be inter-related. I was wrong! I had a chat with a POS Malaysia personnel, and they say that the moment the parcel has passed through customs, it will be provided a new tracking number! It will no longer be LC738542518AU, but infact, ENnnnnnnnnMY or something like that. Fine, that will be cool for POS Malaysia to track themselves, but as a consumer, how the heck are you to know the new tracking number? I challenged the POS Malaysia personnel, and he just smiled and said , "tanya KLIA kastam la". I called KLIA kastams, and they said , "you takde tracking number ENnnnnnnMY, saya tak boleh tolong"...

I once kena the same situation as TS, my parcel fr US. I call pos malaysia and the pos personnel told me that my tracking is been replaced when the item arrived at msia. and they ask for my contact number and few minutes later they call back and gave me the replaced tracking number. I am able to track by using the given tracking number.
try call pos malaysia again, ask them nicely may be they will help u and provide u new tracking number.. |

Email Pos Malaysia.
The same thing happens for my registered parcels from Hong Kong, so what I do is that after tracking with Hong Kong Post to verify my parcel has been sent out, after a 2 days (usually 1 day is enough for my parcel to reach MY soil) I will email Pos Malaysia at csc@pos.com.my. My email will say something like I've a parcel from HK, tracking number XXXX, please email me the assigned Malaysian tracking number, thanks. |
